Nancy Drew 3x01 Thoughts
The Warning of the Frozen Heart
+ Ryan being so happy that Nancy wanted him to investigate a murder with her "like father-daughter time?" - aww! I love it. Him later so casually saying to Prudence "when you stole my daughter's blood"
+ "I guess the point is just to go elsewhere... if that's what you want." - Ace. I loved the line reading here. I felt both his genuine support and his obvious unhappiness at the idea. Ace/Nancy were lovely. I love how he's there for her, open and supportive, giving her what she needs. I like that she trusts him so much that she does open up to him.
+ Ace was all over the episode being a supportive friend and it was great. He was the one most there for Nancy, being a listening ear and offering support. He was there to save Bess from her terrible first date. He stood up for Nick while continuing to be there for George. I loved him putting a comforting hand on George's back for a hot second - and she didn't even shake it off!
+ Carson's horrified expression at how Ryan cuts mushrooms - LOL. I laugh every time I think about it. Honestly I'm enjoying everything about Ryan/Carson. Carson's disbelief over Ryan's shopping trip also amused me.
+ I liked that Nick made George's sisters and their friends a part of his proposal. That he surrounded her with her family. It was really sweet.
+ Ted tattletaling that Nancy didn't bring anything to the proposal party - heh.
+ I really liked the townspeople turning to Nancy for her opinion and trusting in her. Her reputation took a hit for a bit over the recanted testimony but she's spent almost a decade helping people and solving crimes, people know her, and it makes sense that people would trust her.
