I'm enjoying this.
+ Lanhua/Qingcang are pretty delightful. (And at the moment where all my interest is.) I love them thus far. Lanhua's misapprehensions over Dongfang Qingcang - that he's a minor criminal, that he's in love with her - make their interactions so fun. Like, him telling her to stop crying because it makes him cry (because it physically does) but she's all 'aww that's so sweet he cares' about it, lol. Though honestly with his considerate and over the top care for her in episode 5 I can't blame her at all for thin, ing he has feelings for her.
I love her attitude with him because of her lack of fear. There's also some really fun physical humour. The hair-pulling fight, her trying to stop him from entering the Arbiter Hall.
Meanwhile he's full of murderous thoughts but can't act because her pain is his and she has now become his greatest weakness. I love how the hits keep coming - harming her hurts him, he feels her emotions, oh also she can control him. His frustration over the situation is also fun to watch.
+ I like Lanhua even if I keep finding myself smile rolling my eyes at her. She is very sweet and I like her determination and that she doesn't let the bad things in her life get her down too much.
+ I loved the bodyswitch and hope it happens again because it was hilarious.
+ I liked the reveal that Changheng likes Lanhua back though it just makes me feel 3ven sorrier for him.
+ I like the fantasy costumes and look of the show.
+ I like that the miscommunication between the leads makes complete sense, and Qingcang purposefully keeping it going also makes sense.
+ I love that the God of War who lead the war against the Moon Tribe and defeated Qingcang was a woman.
+ I wonder if Lanhua is the reincarnation of Chidi Nuzi? Or considering the marriage vision if she's the reincarnation of the missing goddess Changheng is engaged to?
+ Changheng somehow completely missing Lanhua's plant friend's barely hidden plea for help amused me but also dude, come on.
