iaria+ I appreciate the respect for her that both of Lanhua's love interests showed in their actions in ep 24 - Qingcang in not replacing her hair pin so he can read her emotions, Xiao Run in telling her 'brother' that it's Lanhua's opinion that matters re: marriage and he wanted to give her a chance to get to know him.
+ I'm glad that both Lanhua and Qingcang were feeling guilt about what they were doing. Wanqing was so sweet and trusting to Lanhua. Xiao Run was at heart kind despite his issues. Neither deserved what was being forced to happen.
+ I was confused by Lanhua apparently not knowing Qingcang's plan until hearing it from Rong Hao. There was a whole discussion about this? Qingcang told her that he was going to war? He told her that the 100,000 soldier were people with families who deserved to be free (true!) She knew he was after Chidi Nuzi. Did she just not put it together somehow? idk.
+ I'm a little sad that Lanhua learned the truth about Changheng's feelings the way she did.
+ Xiao Run dying surprised me but that plus Qingcang in a murderous rage after Wanqing simply made it even more clear that Xiao Run was never meant to be the husband. Everyone is sure they failed their Tribulations but Wanqing was killed by her husband on her wedding night! Just not the husband they thought it would be. Who ever could have foreseen that.
+ I liked that Changheng's Tribulation was dying to protect someone he loved and that person ended up being Danyin. Xiao Run dying to protect his best friend even while very confused about what was happening was nice and felt right.
+ I do love Lanhua and Qingcang choosing each other. Lanhua couldn't poison him in the end. Qingcang chose to kill Wanqing to save Lanhua and thus seemingly doom those 100,000 soldiers and his people. Lanhua when finally seemingly given everything she wanted (home, Changheng's hand/love) she chose Qingcang.
+ I loved Qingcang being so overcome with emotion when Lanhua is about to say she loves him that he can't even let her finish before pulling her into a kiss.
+ Learning that the souls of the people Rong Hao sacrificed still exist, though in a fragmented and tormented fashion, and can be 'saved' and move on makes me feel better. And less mad at Rong Hao. Murder is fine, destroying souls not so much!
+ Changheng came for Lanhua? To bring her home? Is he serious? I'm pretty sure his brother is not going to be okay with that! He defied his brother in front of everyone and rebelled. He has to know he's being hunted right? That Shuiyuntian is not safe for either of them? Hopefully this leads to him staying in Cangyan Sea.
+ I really want Changheng to show up to that mourning ceremony so that he can see the toll the war has taken on the other side.
+ Yay for Qingcang and Changheng working together to save their people. The strife between them at this point is very much centred on Lanhua but also I think she's ultimately a binding force that will be what brings peace to all the realms. Why not have it start with these two?
