+ I knew it was coming but Lanhua rejecting Changheng was still really painful. I was so sad for him. And then he came out with "Only when I met Lanhua did my world have colours" and like break my heart. :(
+ Shangque needs to just stop talking to Xunfeng. I want to yell at him 'what are you doing?!' I get not wanting to break Qingcang's confidence by revealing his true feelings but maybe keep your mouth shut and not say anything at all! Jieli might be a little right in him being an idiot.
+ "For the past 30000 years I've been disgusting and lying. But being friends with you is something I did from the bottom of my heart." - Rong Hao. ♥ I love them.
+ Rong Hao absolutely has bigger plans here and should not be trusted! I love that Changheng still chooses to trust him but also no, bad.
Episode 28
+ Spy Jieli surprised me but makes complete sense.
+ Qingcang taking on the Nine Bone Devouring Spikes is such a 'whhhhyyyyy????' decision. It's totally unnecessary! The show tries to position it (via Qingcang) as a sacrifice that he has to make in order to be with Lanhua but it's not! It really isn't. Literally no one was asking for this. In fact as soon as he brought it up they were all 'whoa man, let's back up and think about this'. As a symbolic gesture on his part it's terrible! His people are at war and it's very specifically his strength that is their salvation. Further crippling his power and abilities is not good. He needs to seriously recheck his priorities here. I'm starting to think he might be a bit of a drama queen.
+ His defence of Lanhua and claiming her as the only queen he'll ever have was lovely.
+ Lanhua preempting Qingcang and proposing to him was wonderful.
+ I LOVED Lanhua and Qingcang's fight over her entering the cave. I loved that she wasn't intimidated nor backed down. I loved that when he yelled at her she yelled back. I loved that she called him out on how until this point he's had complete control of their interactions but that as husband and wife they need to be equals, and she has to be able to make her own decisions. I loved that all she wanted was for him to respect her choices - and he did.
+ I loved Lanhua's determination to enter the Cave because she was resolved to earn the right to be Moon Queen on her own merits just as Qingcang did to become Moon Supreme. That she wanted to earn the support of his people and prove that she deserved to be by his side.
+ Xunfeng breaking as soon as he realises that Lanhua is actually planning to enter the cave, despite just giving her the potion, and revealing he's been playing a game of scare chicken with her made me facepalm a bit. Him freaking out because he thinks his brother will never forgive him is sweet but also I want to shake him. Stop playing stupid games!
+ I liked that moment when she just hands him the drugged drink and doesn't bother to hide or explain it, and he knows it's drugged and drinks it anyway. The trust!
