Beyond Evil Episode 11
Jun. 8th, 2024 11:58 pm+ This show really liked to mess with your mind. It managed to convince me that Jeong-ji probably didn't kill Yu-yeon after being suspicous of him for most of the series and now it appears that he absolutely did. But did he? Are they once again showing things in one way only to reveal the truth is something different?
+ As it is now it appears that Yu-yeon escaped budding serial killer Jin-mook (while missing her fingertips yikes) only to get accidentally hit and killed by Jeong-yi when she ran to him for help. He may have been not in his right mind at the time. All I could think with this reveal is just how very many people would be alive (and/or be happier) if only she hadn't been hit that night. If she'd been found and survived her father would have survived, Jin-mook would have been arrested and all his many many victims wouldn't have met a horrible end because of him.
+ Young Dong-sik crying that "I just want to breathe" was heartbreaking. I completely get why that would get Sang-bae to devote his life to making it happen for him.
+ The fact that Sang-bae put Dong-sik's name on the land he bought along with his own, aww.
+ I have so much love for the fact that upon Joo-won and Dong-sik deciding to work together to solve Sang-bae's murder they immediately went and brought in all of the usual crowd to help the. Unprecedented. Delightful. I want to give them a gold star for learning and making better choices.
+ I loved that moment of Joo-won realising exactly how flimsy the evidence had been to arrest Dong-sik, and his 'wtf' face at it.
