Episode 6

This was my favourite episode yet.

+ It went in a completely unexpected direction for me. I really was just expecting a police procedural so having the male lead be revealed to be a serial murderer so early in the series and put in jail, it genuinely shocked me. The extent of the conspiracy/dark shadowy power behind the scenes also surprised me. I'm enjoying it all thus far.

+ I loved Jung-woo's interrogation of Min-so. I loved the emotion.

+ Hye-won is grasping at straws to believe Jung-woo isn't a murderer and honestly I think that's a possibility because thus far we haven't actually seen him murder anyone. (Although we do know that at least five people died in Son Min-ho's house and if Jung-woo was behind that then those innocent lives on are him.) Mostly I'm hoping the show doesn't walk back Jung-woo's confession and make him innocent in the end.

+ Jung-woo being the killer definitely puts a different spin on his reactions/actions in regards to Baek Seung-Jae and Choi Yong-Suk's deaths. He watched them die and at the time I excused it away because no one else was really doing anything but apparently not.

+ I loved the semi-inhumanness of Jung-woo and Jamie several times this episode. Jung-woo in his cell was super creepy, I loved it. I want to know so much more about their powers.

+ Jung-woo and Jamie continue to be my favourite part of the show. There's this underlying intensity in their interactions I enjoy very much. This episode gave us a line from each that I loved: Jung-woo's "This is what I love about you. You never lose sight of things." and Jamie's "He created a mechanism so he wouldn't have to life a finger. It's so him." (Her hint of a smile!) They know each other! I want more of them. I want her to join him in his plan.

+ Clearly Jung-woo's long-term plan here is to take down the Foundation. I think he has probably been planning this since he escaped the village, lol. But like Hye-won I have complete faith in him. He is so calculating and intelligent, I don't buy he does anything without it furthering his final goal. In that same vein Hye-won being the daughter of one of the Foundation heads was definitely not a coincidence.

+ I liked Jamie and Jae-woong's scenes. I just wish Jae-woong would get more involved in the main plot a little quicker.

+ Was Jung-woo's search for Jamie and (obviously) Jae-woong simply to save them from the brain lesions, or was it to be reunited with them?

+ Looking for a car key is probably a better idea then running off into the wilderness in the middle of no where.
