Episode 7
This was the most I've liked Jung-woo/Hye-won. I liked their escape from the hospital. I like how well he knows her and that he knew she would take him back to the station. I loved that he stared at her as long as he could when he escaped the interrogation room. I liked her saving him.
The showdown in Lee Taek-Jo's office was great. The funniest thing though was all three of them deciding to hide in the closet when she returned suddenly. Hye-won and Jamie were supposedly trying to arrest him again and yet, lol.
I love how competent Hye-won is at fighting.
If I'm right based on what Jung-woo implied then him having the lesion on Jamie's brain removed might also have removed her extra-ordinary powers too? If so that's such a bummer! I don't like it, boo.
The show taking out both of the women with abilities leaves me feeling so meh.
Poor Kim Seon-ok (and Jung-woo), if he'd only been a little bit quicker in finding her she would have lived. I feel so sad for her. She lived her whole life afraid and alone, and always running and the fact that so close to her there was someone she could have counted on makes it even worse. I find it interesting how much control she had over her abilities. Like her climbing the side of the building was beyond human. Meanwhile her flashing the light SOS in morse code was just terribly sad.
I find it interesting that Jung-woo apparently only began this search for the other kids of White Night Village when he learned he was dying and thus they might be too. Did he have no interest in reestablishing contact with them?
Lee Taek-Jo is absolutely a Foundation plant imo. But I loved the way she verbally smacked down Son Min-ho and then hung up on him. Interesting that the lab tech was also a plant.
Once again with the neck wounds that still allow the person to speak. There other places you can stab someone!
Jung-woo not having a residence made me think of Jamie and her ever present backpack. I have a hard time imaging it's all she owns but perhaps that's all the stuff in the world she needs/cares about?
I haven't mentioned it before but I like Deputy Chief Hwang. He genuinely cares about Jung-woo and he seems like a good guy.
This is dumb but when they were confronted with the locked office door it would have made more sense to me to have Jamie break in rather then Hye-won.
I just noticed but the blurring out of the knife is so weird.
