Episode 14
Jung-woo choosing Lee Taek-Jo's apartment as the best place to hide is kind of hilarious. And it works which is even better.
I like how my view of Taek-Jo has evolved. I was suspicious from the start and wile she's not a good person and is definitely corrupt it all seems almost innocent in contrast to all the corruption and horribleness happening everywhere else.
Jung-woo is certain that Taek-jo is trustworthy as long as you are the highest bidder because she only looks out for herself. I believe this take but at the same time I desperately want her to choose the right path for a moral reason just to give Jung-woo that one unexpected person choosing to help to make up for no one doing it at the Village. Have Min-ho or someone else offer her money or power and, in front of Jung-woo, her choosing to help him instead.
"Nothing can happen to you because you're my future", wow it was creepy how Jung-hwan said that. Like, 'I'm planning to steal your body' creepy.
Jung-woo's fight in the fog was great.
I thought Min-jae deciding the second batch of dead kids was when he's had enough was very 'too little too late', you know? And then he betrayed Jung-woo (maybe) so guess not. Maybe because I'm holding out hope that this is all a plan between them.
The look Jung-woo threw at Min-jae after he shot him - very 'seriously, man?' - lol.
I wonder if it was the little boy or girl Jung-woo met that was in the barrel? He's a pretty contained person overall but he got so visibly emotional seeing that. Though he was having a pretty rough night overall.
Jang Yong-Sik's death felt inevitable but I still felt sad for him. He was a prisoner for so much of his life. He really should have gone to Jung-hwan from the beginning instead of Min-ho.
