Chief Eunuch Chang-seon just so happening to muse about Inju's favourite meal that she always longed for uh huh. I appreciate his quiet support of Ji-young.

Bong-sik and Man-su fighting in front of royalty was ridiculous. Idiots indeed. Decorum!

"I have got you" I love them so much. Gil-geum immediately having Ji-young's back, Ji-young's trust and then worry over her injury later.

I like that in this competition the other chefs did a great job. Everyone made good food that all the judges genuinely enjoyed. That's exactly what I wanted from the first competition.

"So what you are meaning to say is you've managed to capture the heart of a child serving their elders?" HA, yeah a little bit of a misstep there. Everyone's reaction especially Heon's head shake was hilarious.

I liked that little moment where Heon realises with approval Ji-young's secret ingredient and she realises he figured it out by taste and is impressed.

Inju remembering her last moments with her mother, and the soup she made her, was sad and lovely.

Ji-young giving Heon a thumbs up and a silent "there's a good tyrant" when he complimented her dish, lmao

Everyone being impressed/pleased with Ji-young stating it's better for Inju to stay healthy "with delicious food rather than bitter medicine" and then we have Mok-ju rolling her eyes, lol.

Lee Heon is far too gleeful at terrifying and hurting people. His smile when he brought up the punishment for the other chefs yeesh.

Gong-gil as Lee Heon's private spy AND assassin? Yes thanks. More of him please.

I'm surprised that Ji-young didn't consider that Lee Heon might have something physically wrong with him. All her considerations were all mental.

I like the way Lee Heon watches Ji-young.

Lee Heon being the creator of the Mangunrok and it being a chronicle of the meals she made for him is great. Not sure how it explains the time travel.

"Stay like this. Just for a moment." Aww. Poor lonely Lee Heon. I loved the way his hand moved down her back.

I do not think however that Ji-young is going to look upon that kiss with favour lol. Once she gets over the shock I think he's going to find his next meal so spicy he'll want to die or something similar. Although knowing the way these things go I think this is going to be what finally gets her thinking of him in that way.
