iaria+ The little birthday flashback was very bittersweet. Sun-joo is very much an absent father but it's also clear he loves her very much. Her trusting he'd show up, her forgiving him without words but by acknowledging why he was late, the way he threw his gift off to the side with a smile as he got her mother's letter... it was surprisingly lovely but also sad. Do better, Sun-joo!
+ Min-a's breakdown when she finally got to speak to her dad was heart-breaking. Especially her thinking her dad had abandoned her (because she kept bugging him to read to her, oh sweetie.)
+ Min-ra throwing out that the self-driving car would be ready to launch is a super risky move because you can't just will it to be done, and if it's not done or malfunctions after it's launch that is a massive strike against her. And it's not even like Sun-joo is there heading the project, it's someone she doesn't even know.
+ I liked In-sung apologizing about hiring Ma-pi without considering Se-yeon's point of view. Regardless of anything, Ma-pi did torment Se-yeon when she is at the lowest point of her life for quite awhile.
+ Awww to In-sung buying Ma-pi a durable watch cause he knows he likes to use them in various ways. I wonder if that was the first time someone had ever bought him a gift?
+ The way Jae-chun shoved his wife out of the way was hilarious. I loved In-sung's smug smile at his dad's reaction. He was so proud of finally getting the perfect gift.
+ I loved the way In-sung casually grips the handle above his head and how easily he maintains balance as Ma-pi tears out of the parking lot. Poor Mr. Kwak. Him asking after Se-yeon made me laugh because she broke his car but it's still better than Ma-pi's driving.
+ Se-yeon playing Mr. Kwak lullabies to put him to sleep, lol.
+ Poor Mr. Kwak. I felt bad for him. He seemed to be living a pretty sad life, he gave his loyalty to one person and kept it which is admirable in it's own way, and he died after being forced to climb way too many stairs and then running terrified for his life.
