1x18 'Justice'
+ There was a lot of talk about how if Declan told the truth it would implicate Jack - except Declan didn't see Jack. Yes, it was Jack and Declan knows that but neither Declan or Charlotte saw who was in the hoodie that night. Just that there was a person there. Yes, the Grayson's will try to spin that person as being Jack but there is no proof Jack was on the beach and no motive. So I don't see why can't he just tell the truth.
+ I don't understand why Jack would keep the hoodie. How the hell would it's presence help Amily? All it does is give evidence against Jack.
+ Emily's plan and clean-up of the situation was brilliant as usual except for one little lose end - Declan's testimony. Doesn't this imply that he did lie on the stand?
+ I find the whole Dominik storyline very meh. What was the point of him? To show that Victoria has feelings? But we already know that through her relationship with David. To create bad feelings between Victoria and Conrad? There were easier and better ways. I especially have a problem with the fact that Victoria apparently told Dominik the whole truth about David Clark. Seriously? There is just no way she would do that. I don't care what she felt for him when she was younger. That was completely unbelievable.
1x19 'Absolution'
+ A part of me is really hoping that Daniel has something else going on. I have no idea what but the idea of him falling in line with his parents even after knowing the truth is a little hard for me to grasp. He has a lot of faults but he's also generally been a good guy who wants to be a good person and I never saw this coming. It doesn't seem to fit what we know about him. I'm hoping that he's pulling a con or something.
+ If Emily really was starting to have feelings for Daniel this just stomped them into dust. She gave him the chance to do the right thing and we've seen what she does to people who don't take that chance. Loyalty to family is important to Emily, something she understands, and that's brought up with Nolan earlier in the episode but loyalty in the face of the various crimes committed by the elder Grayson's is another thing entirely.
+ What is Victoria thinking in going to the SEC with claims of terrorism? It's one thing to try and tank the company and have Conrad thrown in jail over bad business but to bring up the truth about David Clark? I can't think of what else she could have meant and if so it seems very much a case of cutting your nose off in spite of your face.
+ I loved Jack going to Daniel to give him back his phone and with it push Daniel to figure out the truth for Emily's sake. That was a great little scene. But at the same time it was pretty stupid since it's put ammunition in Grayson hands.
