Suits Thoughts
I was not sold on this show at first but I kept watching and then suddenly I was finishing the first season. I love Harvey. He is by far my favourite character. I love the Harvey/Jessica relationship. I love the Harvey/Mike relationship. I enjoy watching pretty much all the characters. The show really grew on me.
1x08 'Identity Crisis'
• "I'm not concerned with Louis. He brought your name into it, okay? The offer was to be your assistant and now you're exposed because of what he did." Harvey being mad/worried on Jessica's behalf is great.
• It irritated me that Harvey had to go and ask for Louis to help him with the case. That he had to be polite and butter him up in order to get his help. Louis who not once, not twice but three times messed up on the case (and in very serious ways). Louis should be begging/jumping at the chance to fix his mistakes.
• I'm not really sold on Mike's relationships with either Jenny and Rachel. Mike/Jenny are occasionally cute. I like the friendship between Mike/Rachel. But I'm not interested in either relationship. I did however like Lola in this ep. I wouldn't mind seeing her again and she's the most interested I've been in a Mike relationship (outside Harvey of course).
• I loved the scene where Mike asks for Harvey's corporate card - from Harvey playing keep away with the card and his little smile to Mike's "Please let me tell you." it was great.
• I like that Harvey's reaction to Mike's backtalk was amusement. And then later we see Donna backtalking too, and Harvey having the same reaction.
1x12 'Dog Fight'
• Jessica/Harvey were amazing as always. I loved her supporting his case even against the other partners' reservations and the firm losing clients. I loved her defense of Donna - "We did what you would've done for either one of us. So get off your high horse. Leave the woman alone." - and then the scene where she tells him to get over it was excellent.
Jessica: Think about what your life would be like without her.
Harvey: Now I know.
Jessica: Know what?
Harvey: How you always forgive me.
Jessica: Oh, it's nowhere near as easy to forgive you.
Harvey: Think about it.
Jessica: Oh, I do. (to herself) Every goddamn day.
♥ Love them so much.
• I loved the Donna waited until Harvey apologised before giving in. Also that when he confronted her about what she did she didn't apologise for protecting him or ask his forgiveness.
• I loved the Donna/Rachel scene in Harvey's office. Donna's response was perfect.
• "Harvey, behave." - Mike ♥ Mike and Harvey were excellent.
