Enter the Dragon
There were several things I really enjoyed about this episode.
• Regina/Emma were really wonderful. I loved Emmas overwhelming concern for Regina. It was also basically all she did this episode. I loved that she tried to convince Regina against staying undercover but when Regina refused to back down she immediately stated she was in too. "I'm gonna stick by you. I'm gonna get your back while you do this. ... You wanted my help now you're going to get it no matter what it means for both of us." The fact that Emma trusts Regina so much now that she let her leave with Pinocchio surprised me a little but I love it too even if turned out not to be the best idea.
• Regina/Maleficent were fabulous. I'm shipping them so much now. I loved them in both the flashbacks and in Storybrooke. I love that it was Regina who reminded Maleficent of who she was and brought her out of her funk. I love that it was Maleficent who gave Regina the idea of the sleep curse and the benefits of hurting the one you hate over killing them.
• "I said we needed to meet covertly and now I see you've brought the entire Charming softball league and their pirate mascot?" - Regina. LOL.
• Why the hell would Belle go along with 'Hook's' plan? Why would Hook be able to hide it better than her? Why would she trust Hook of all people that much? I hate how that played out. It makes no sense to me and just makes her look dumb. Though it was a good plan on Rumple's side.
• Wait, why did Regina ditch Emma? Having Emma as backup is a good thing!
• 'Don't be a hero' is a dumb game. All it proves is self-preservation. What Regina should have done was poofed herself out of there and left the others to fend for themselves. Their bad guy partying also made me roll my eyes - drinking, trashing Granny's and burning a cop car, really? They're evil villains not teenage delinquents. Having Regina commit to kidnapping Pinocchio was a much better test.
• Ack, I feel so sorry for Marco and Pinocchio. I hope August gets turned back into Pinocchio again at the end of this.
