Roswell, New Mexico 1x08 Thoughts

Liz (and Kyle) are way too good a people.
Michael specifically not turning away as Liz covered a naked Isobel in the silver solution is only adding fuel to my shipping fire. Loved it.
Also Liz using her hands to cover naked Isobel in the silver solution now has me shipping them.
It really bothers me that Michael ran off to collect Isobel/Max instead of working with Liz to figure out the solution. He's a genius who has been investigating his alien origins for years and, while brilliant herself, this is all new to Liz. They should have figured out what to do together. I mean, Michael has a cell phone, use it. Instead it felt like sacrificing Michael to boost Liz, in a way? It annoys me.
Loved Max desperately trying to heal Isobel.
Loved Michael pushing Max into the chair, asking if he was going to puke and as soon as he says no turning to get the bedpan for him. I just really love every moment of the pod squad taking care of each other.
It bugged me a little that all of Isobel's attention was on her blackouts, her worry about what she could do and her need to deal with that danger, all completely understandable, and yet no attention was spent on her dealing with the fact that she killed three people and what that means to her outside the potential danger. She was happy to be 'normal', to be able to go back to her normal marriage (implied lie free now - except you know, the murder) but because of that murder can it ever be 'normal' again for her? Can she really just move past it so easily?
I really need a scene between Michael and Isobel over her taking the serum. Michael was so upset about it because in his mind she was destroying an essential part of herself whereas Isobel's relief wasn't confined to simply being relieved at now being safe but also a happiness at being 'normal' for the first time. Those are two very contradictory points of view and I want to see that addressed a little.
I love that Michael showed Liz his alien fortress of solitude, even though he's never shown anyone before, in order to save Isobel. That said, it still felt like he gave in way too easily. But then it also felt like he was giving up too easily as well.
I am so curious about why Isobel and Max are so connected to each other and Michael just isn't. Is it because they were raised together? Because they're actually siblings?
Oh, man, poor Michael. From the very beginning in the group home he was trying so frantically to call for help, to go home, by drawing the beacon everywhere. He likely didn't even know why he was doing it. And him doing so seems to have been the reason why the Evans's didn't adopt him, why he missed that opportunity to get the happy home on Earth with the others. That's so sad!
Wait, so does Mrs. Evans not know that Michael Guerin aka her childrens' closest friend is the other little boy at the group home that they didn't adopt? Huh.
I'm so glad that it was Isobel compelling Kyle to attack her with the suppressant rather than him acting out of rage-grief.
The entire Alex plotline was kind of weird and felt really out of the blue. I feel like I needed an episode of build-up there.
Why did Noah give in to Kyle and not continue to demand answers?
Why would Michael have created his alien bunker at the junk yard? Until the pilot his trailer was on the land by their pods. ??
