I was very uncertain about whether I wanted to watch season 3 of Elementary. I found season 2 really disappointing overall and the spoilers about Sherlock having a new female protege made me wary. But I decided to give the premiere a chance and I ended up really enjoying it. And I've continued to enjoy this season immensely. It has been a great improvement over season 2. I've loved what the show has been doing with Sherlock and Joan's relationship. My skepticism about Sherlock's new protege proved to be unfounded - I love Kitty. I loved her relationships with Sherlock and Joan. I think she brought a lot to the show.

2x03 'We Are Everyone'

• First, I hated the plot of this episode. Basically - all of it. It felt like the writers had a point of view and were pushing it far too hard. To the point that things ended up feeling contrived and stupid. But instead of going into that, there were a bunch of things I liked. So, a list:
