Dredd: I really enjoyed it. It was a bit too gory for my taste but I liked everything else. Karl Urban was excellent as Judge Dredd and I loved Olivia Thirlby's Cassandra Anderson. Her character arc was unexpected but wonderful. I also enjoyed the Dredd/Anderson interactions. Locking the characters, and thus the action and story, into one apartment building was a great idea. It gave the movie some really great tension. And I liked Lena Headey as Ma-Ma. Good movie.
Elementary 1x21:
I continue to adore Sherlock/Joan. They are awesome.
- "The difference in me, empirically speaking, is you." I loved Joan’s smile.
- I loved the autopsy scene. Everything about it was perfect – Sherlock’s expressions when he was trying to get Joan to do the autopsy and she kept refusing, Joan finally giving in because she couldn’t stand to see Sherlock doing it so badly, Sherlock complimenting her on her technique. They are adorable and amazing.
- Now is Sherlock really that bad or was he purposefully doing it wrong to tempt her into doing it?
- Bee assassins!
- "Thank you, Watson. You know, some people without possessing genius have a remarkable knack for stimulating it." - Sherlock
"Oh, an insult and a boast." - Joan
LOL
