2x05 'Smell Ya Later'
+ This show is always at it's best when Eve and Villanelle are together and their scenes this episode were excellent. Eve putting her hand against Villanelle's cheek killed me. I love that both of them think about their last meeting "all the time" and admitted it to each other; loved them both refusing to apologise; "I needed to see you." and that little hitch in Eve's voice; Eve calling Villanelle's poison bluff then falling for Villanelle's apparent panic and Villanelle's glee about it; and then that amazing little moment at the sink as Villanelle turns Eve with an arm around her waist and a dagger at her throat that she slowly slides down Eve, hot!
+ So Eve a psychopath? I am not surprised if that is the direction the show is going in. I loved that moment when she considered pushing the man who bumped into her in front of the train.
+ Carolyn clearly suspects Eve potentially is and her reaction to that is fascinating. I loved the reveal of Carolyn and Konstantin sitting in the car together as Villanelle and Eve drove off. It felt like foreshadowing and I find myself wondering if Carolyn wants her own pet psychopath? She's keeping Eve off-books and her own motives close to the vest. I wonder if we're heading towards a future where Eve works off books for the UK government with Carolyn as her handler but with more killing on Eve's part? Or could Carolyn be mentoring Eve to be a replacement for her own somewhat iffy job? What is Carolyn's end goal?
+ Loved Villanelle's emotional rejection of Eve's contract.
+ I like the Eve/Jess friendship and think the show is doing a great job showing how much closer they've become.
+ "This is a little hurtful. You were pretty happy to shoot me." I loved Villanelle's exasperation that Konstantin's not over that yet.
+ Martin's powerpoint psychopath presentation was great.
2x06 'I Hope You Like Missionary!'
+ I enjoyed Eve and Konstantin's bicking during the mission and the contrast in their styles. Eve would probably do much better if she relaxed and took a more laid-back Konstantin approach to Villanelle. Her attempts to handle her were not going well. But it's Eve so it seems unlikely.
+ "You're not yelling but it feels like you're yelling." - Konstantin. Hee.
+ Them needing Villanelle to get close to the Peels doesn't actually make that much sense. They're MI6, this what they do. I'm sure they have an agent somewhere that could have done the same thing (minus bus).
+ I could have done without Konstantin's attempt to slut shame Carolyn.
