+ The Fitz/Mack reunion hug was great. I loved the smile on Mack's face. But then we didn't really get another reunion - May and Daisy giant smiles were nice but there was no hug! I demand hugs. That said I did love the immediate Jemma/Daisy hug. And the Mack/Daisy scene was nice.
+ I am curious about what they're going to do with Fitz/Daisy this season. They went through a very difficult patch when he forcibly returned her powers and I'm curious if that's going to be addressed or swept under the rug because it was a different Fitz? I actually can't remember how things were between them at the end of last season before Fitz's death, hmm.
+ I liked Deke enthusiastically greeting Fitz, it was funny, and I did mostly enjoy him annoying Fitz at the end with his excited babbling and bragging. But at the same time I was kind of hoping for something new in their relationship.
+ I'm not sold on Deke this season. They've really ramped up his goofier aspects and he's hitting annoying more than funny for me. I prefer him slightly more serious but snarky. I really liked that moment with the bomb when he apologised, and also just the fact that he didn't succeed in disarming it.
+ I'm glad the show seems to have dropped the idea of Deke/Daisy. He's still crushing on her but there is no interest on her part. I never really liked them so this works for me. (I'd rather they brought back Trip, or Robbie.)
+ I'm really disappointed by Jaco's death. I liked him - he was very likeable! He was cool and his species was interesting and I wanted to learn more. I think he could have made a good addition to the team and honestly I don't think it was necessary for him to die. If they'd all taken a moment to think about it I'm sure they'd have figured out a way to set it off without needing to sacrifice a life to do it, and if he'd been one of the team they would have.
+ Piper with Davis at the end was adorable. If they die I'm going to be so sad.
+ I found the Mack/Sarge fight a little hard to buy unless Sarge has super-strength or something. Coulson can fight but in a throw-down Mack would kick his ass easily.
