Episode 9

+ I can't believe Min-hyuk didn't kiss her! He started it! She'd closed her eyes! Dude, I am disappointed in you. I wonder why he pulled away? I did enjoy him playing up his injury and pain for Bong-soon and his glee at doing it. I loved him declaring that he can handle being hurt but can't deal with her being hurt.

+ Bong-soon and Min-hyuk have slowly but increasingly been having tender and understanding moments together but this episode created a huge shift in Bong-soon towards him. Both having him save her life and faced with the possibility that he could have died and then seeing that painful scene between him and his father really seems to have changed how she sees him. This time when he got close she actually did welcome that almost kiss! She turned things professional with Guk-doo even though he was being semi open about his feelings. I'm really interested to see how things are between them in the next episode.

+ Okay, the taking a knife to save her is great and everything but honestly that scene mostly made me laugh at how ridiculous it was. They were all the way on the other side of the warehouse! How am I suppose to take that seriously? So the Bong-soon tenderly holding him and crying left me a little cold. Meanwhile, Guk-doo should probably take some anger management classes.

+ "You can have Bong-soon." LMAO. It's terrible and I'm still mad at Mrs. Hwang over Mr. Do but this was hilarious. She's so shameless about it. She also made me laugh when she casually stated that she was "really good at looking after the injured" because she'd hurt and put a ton of people in the hospital too. Heh. Like daughter, like mother.

+ "Bong-soon is mine to protect." Ugh. You know I do feel a little bad for Guk-doo. He's liked her since they were in school but never had the courage to tell her. For years she's been crushing deeply on him and he knew it but again never made a move. Now that things are in a place where he can acknowledge his feelings she might not be on the same page as him. That sucks for him certainly. And he has handled the truth about her really well which is nice. But I'm all in for Min-hyuk/Bong-soon and am very over his possessive high-handedness with Bong-soon so I'd be fine if this side of the triangle died sooner than later.

Episode 10

+ Min-hyuk/Bong-soon were great. I loved that little moment when he pulled her down so he could lay his head in her lap for a moment. The ending of course was excellent. Him pulling her close, saying he's in pain and holding her hand to his heart - so good. My favourite small moment: Min-hyuk's big grin (after the shock) when Bong-soon didn't fall for his guilt trip. His surety that he knows her so well (the call) is cute but I love that when she surprises him and things don't go his way he still finds her amazing. Oh, and his expression when he opened the door on listening Bong-soon was great. Min-hyuk was extra intense about Bong-soon this ep which I enjoyed.

+ Park Hyung-sik was so great during that final confession, I loved it. But I think that ended up making me more critical of how Park Bo-young acted the scene. I've enjoyed her up until this point, and she's had some great moments herself, but in this scene Bong-soon mostly came off as blank to me. Her being shocked makes sense but compared to the emotion we were getting from Min-hyuk it fell short for me.

+ Min-hyuk wasn't wrong that Bong-soon getting a job could come across as favouritism, and she doesn't seem to be actually qualified, but him making her his intern (to keep her in the office) instead of in the actual group he promised her was a dick move and frankly kind of looks worse? I'd find it easier to accept if it was more about him mentoring her in the business.

+ I was ready to cringe through Dong-pyung's scenes after his first one but they surprisingly didn't bother me like I was expecting. I like that he's just another asshole obstacle that Bong-soon has to deal with and his sexuality isn't a part of that.

+ Duk-doo was being such a dumbass attacking Jang-hyun like that and he's lucky it didn't go so much worse for him. Plus I'm sure that Jang-hyun got rid of those boots so that's evidence gone. Someone seriously needs to put him in anger management classes. It was nice that his co-workers and boss had his back and I like that he now has a place where he feels like he belongs.
