Strong Girl Bong-soon Episode 13 Thoughts
Sep. 14th, 2019 06:39 pm+ "I didn’t know I would love you this much." ♥ Once again being vulnerable and open to Bong-soon about his emotions. I really loved all the ways he tried to support and protect her. I loved him ordering her favourite food and the note he left with it. I loved him showing up at the junkyard and silently opening the door to his vehicle for her.
+ I was expecting Bong-soon to lose her strength and for it to happen because of Jang-hyun but the actual way it happened I call bullshit on. That was a complete accident. She was saving her friend. It's not like she went over to the 'kidnapper' and hurt him herself. I guess she got dinged on how hard/far she threw the elevator? Meh. I wish that had played out differently.
+ Min-hyuk did excellently during the fight with Jang-hyuk, which I enjoyed, but I'm a bit disappointed that it wasn't Bong-soon who got to defeat him.
+ I loved Bong-soon going through the junkyard like a wrecking ball (could have even done with more even) and really loved that she was the one to save the captive women. Loved her sneaking away afterwards with her hood up.
+ I wish we'd seen Bong-soon princess carrying the 1st bride (who could barely walk) out. We've seen her carry heavier before.
+ I was really expecting Jang-hyun to kidnap Bong-soon. A little disappointed that the show didn't go that way because I wanted Min-hyuk and Guk-doo working together to save her (and perhaps the gangs getting involved thus giving them a reason to still be taking up so much screen time) while Bong-soon manages to defeat Jang-hyun without powers.
+ I love Kyung-shim and her protectiveness of Bong-soon, and their love for each other. I loved Kyung-shim trying to warn Bong-soon about the trick and telling her not to come over. I loved Bong-soon still going after Jang-hyun despite losing her strength.
+ The media reports annoyed me because once again no mention was made of Kyung-shim. And I realise that the media probably doesn't know about her being successfully kidnapped at that point but I don't care.
+ I loved Guk-doo abashidly telling his boss it was "a hunch" and his boss's glee over it. (And everyone else's good matured humour.)
+ I very much appreciated Mi-hwa stepping between Mrs. Hwang and Mr. Do and her attempts to protect and help him. He deserves it. I wondered about them maybe getting together but it really does seem like they're just friends and I like that he has a good friend he can relax and be happy with. He really needs to leave Mrs. Hwang though.
