+ The in-between place was pretty. I'd want to explore that more too.

+ I liked how calm Gon was about Tae-eul pulling the gun on him. "I told you. She can handle guns." LOL. Still that was stupid rash on her part. I can't believe she did that.

+ I loved Yeong grabbing the gun barrel and pointing it at himself after Gon stepped out from behind him.

+ The way Gun goes from so confident (and pleased with himself/the situation) while telling Tae-eul to make herself at home to immediately shutting up and take a step back when he sees Ok-nam standing there made me laugh.

+ Gun: Don't worry. I'll ditch her somehow and come back.
Ok-nam: My goodness...

LOL! I'm with Tae-eul he is so asking for it. Also from this scene Ok-nam basically guilting him into talking to her right then was great. I love Gun/Ok-nam so much.

+ I love that even after finding out that he's king Tae-eul doesn't change how she addresses him. I loved her turning things around and demanding he taste test her food for her. I love that after Gon confirms he made the food Tae-eul immediately denies that it's good (even as she shovels it into her mouth) and Gon's massive sigh over it.

+ Gon pausing to quietly ask Ok-nam in which direction Tae-eul's room is in - lol. His little laugh when she gets all "my goodness" about it, which you know was his goal because there is no way he thought she'd tell him, was great.

+ I was a little surprised that Ok-nam took such an immediate hard stance against Tae-eul considering a) her desperate desire for him to marry, b) her knowledge of his unwavering interesting in Tae-eul since childhood, and c) how much she hates Seo-ryung and doesn't want her to be Queen. But I guess it makes sense considering that Tae-eul is such an unknown and doesn't know/understand the way Corea or life in the palace work. Of course Ok-nam would be worried about the chaos/trouble she could bring into Gon's life.

+ I enjoyed the bedroom scene and I loved her questioning if he'd ever dated, and if he was dating now (for the first time). I loved that he kissed her in reply. But that kiss was... yee, a very bad kdrama kiss. The closed mouth press of lips while she sits there, wide-eyed and unmoving until he pulls away is terrible in itself, I have seen good kdrama kisses, but also terrible in that I just do not buy that's how Tae-eul would react.

+ His poor confused guards when Gon asked "wasn't I cool", lol. Yeong being unable to look away from him - ha

+ I love that Gon had Tae-eul go to a couple of his appointments (to show off) but his true reasoning for taking her out as one of his guards was to get her free of the palace so she could explore his world just as he did hers. That's really thoughtful.

+ Replacing key people with their doppelgangers is a good plan except that I don't know that I buy them (all) being able to succeed for any length of time. The differences between the two versions can be really extensive in personality and history, and while no one's thoughts are going to turn to their loved one being replaced by a parallel universe exact copy they are going to notice that something is off about them.

+ Gon being all dramatic at the end amused me. He could have just had Jeong pay for tickets for the two of them but landing a helicopter so he can run to her 'rescue' is clearly the more sensible choice!

+ I love that part of Tae-eul's exploration of the Kingdom was to look for her mother's doppelganger. That's such an understandable desire that frankly I've been surprised that Gon never gave into. Sure, he knows they're not the same people he lost but isn't he even a little curious. Also knowing Gon I feel like the chances of him having Tae-eul's mother found is pretty high.
