I love the way Gon looks at Tae-eul.

I loved Yeong and Secretary Mo's reactions to Gon and Tae-eul communicating via writing on each others hands.

Gon going into lecture mode, even via secret hand writing, and refusing to let Tae-eul go much to her annoyed resignation was amusing.

"If you're staying the night I'll have you sleep in my bedroom." Wow! I mean he's basically been 100% committed from the second he saw her in person but this was forward in a way I wasn't expecting but loved. I wish we'd gotten more of a reaction from Tae-eul.

I liked the entire scene in the kitchen. Gon cooking for her was great. I love the detail that he enjoys cooking. That Ok-nam taught him how to cook makes me aww. I want a flashback of that. I liked her empathising with how lonely he must have been in her world and his worry that she was lonely. The forehead bump was adorable. I liked Gon being emotionally open to Tae-eul and her telling him he grew up into 'a fine man'. It was a nice scene.

"I won't let you go." He can keep her there without any command, she is literally trapped unless he takes her back to her world. This could be the set up of a great horror - she can't return home without him, she has no i.d. or money or allies, he's the king. Instead it's a vow not to lose her, a cry from someone who cares so much, but you also know he wouldn't make that command.

I loved Tae-eul standing up to the bullies to protect Shin-jae. I loved how unmoved she was, that she called the police instead of trying to beat them up herself, that she turned the leader's threats back on him. It was a great little character moment for her. It was also made Shin-jae's continued pining for Tae-eul and his devotion to her come even more into focus and I understand it completely now.

I'm continuing to enjoy Seo-ryung as a Prime Minister. I liked how she handled the Japan crisis and the dissent among her cabinet. I loved her line about how her high-heels "are my combat shoes". I feel like she could end up a powerful ally against Lim.

Tae-eul calling Gon by his name and his reaction and "I guess it was only supposed to be spoken by you" was great.

Tae-eul's father not realising that Tae-eul was gone (after her drawn out sad apology) was great but that he did notice the horse was gone and was upset that Gon left without saying goodbye, and her annoyance over it, amused me a lot.

Tae-eul isn't wrong about the flowers. They know nothing about that space. I imagine they'll probably bloom at the end of the show.

I enjoyed the ship scenes with Gon, especially his interactions with the Major. I liked that he chose to take an active role in the situation and put himself on the front lines with his soldiers. I liked it if the show would clarify more what exact role Gon plays as King. How much power does he have over making decisions? Can he countermand one of the prime minister's decisions?

This show keeps doing this thing where we'll get a scene in an episode and then in the next episode we'll return to that scene and see an extension of it that gives it more context. This episode had that with Seo-ryung meeting Tae-eul and Gon at the beginning, and then later in the episode we get an expansion of the bedroom scene between Gon and Tae-eul. The show does it constantly and I'm not actually sure how I feel about it. I love the expansions - getting to see more of how that bedroom scene went was great - and getting a slightly different view or understanding of things is nice but it's also very different from what I'm used to.

I love Yeong's protectiveness of Gon - him rushing over to grab Gon's arm just because there's a red line on his wrist.

Why do fingerprints match with some doppelgangers (Lim) but not others (Tae-eul/Luna, Gon)? Or do they never match and Lim somehow changed his doppelganger's to match his?

I really hope that Gon tells at least Yeong, who now knows basically everything, about Lim being alive. This is not the kind of secret to keep to yourself! There is no reason to keep Yeong in the dark about something so important at this point.

I liked Tae-eul running and hugging Gon at the end, and how emotional she was. I think it was well set up - the last she saw of him his country was maybe on the verge of war and she had no idea when she'd see him again, and had no way of checking that he was okay on her own. For all she knew he had died and the more time passed the harder it probably was not to think the worst. I can see how that would magnify her feelings about him. [He confuses her, perhaps especially because of his enormous love for her, but she clearly also likes him and doesn't know what to do about that.]

Gon's line about being a danger to Tae-eul is making me proactively sigh because I can see where this is going - ie, distancing himself for her own good - and I'm rather meh about it. How about he's honest with her instead and they work together to figure out the truth about Lim, since it affects both worlds, and then in the process she falls in love and they become true partners, yes?

Two random theory/thoughts:

Shin-jae was rich as a child and then suddenly wasn't - not suspicious in itself. He recognises the symbol of Corea - which I assumed was because he saw it in a case related to whatever Lim is doing in Korea. But together and with Lim's interest in him... what if Shin-jae is from Corea? What if his family was moved/replaced between worlds by Lim as part of his scheming? I don't know that it makes sense for Lim's POV but its an interesting idea.

I've assumed that Lim killed Gon's counterpart but honestly it doesn't make much sense to me. Having an exact doppelganger of the king would be invaluable for Lim and he is way too much of a schemer/forward-planner to not have realised it. We didn't see him kill the kid, nor his body. We heard voices say they were cops and that they found the boy's body - from the other side of the door. Which now that I think about it is really freaking suspicious! So now I'm sure Gon's alternate has to be alive.
