Agents of Shield 7x08 Thoughts

+ May and Yo-Yo were great. It was nice to see them bonding. I loved that they had the same reaction to Jiaying saying May could help her explore her feelings. I loved them sparring to do it.
+ I loved seeing Jiaying and I'm even more pleased that we're very likely to see her again because I want a Daisy/Jiaying reunion and for Daisy to get a do-over with her mother.
+ Jaiying having had an Inhuman daughter who killed herself before Daisy's birth feels like backstory that makes complete sense and in fact enhances Jaiying's characterisation. A retcon that doesn't feel like retcon. It makes me want to rewatch her season 2 scenes with this in mind.
+ I can't wait to see Kora and Daisy interact. Kora was convinced pretty easily to turn against her mother/people but she has also clearly being living with a lot of fear and distrust, so I wonder how she'll feel knowing Nathaniel stole his powers from her younger sister, torturing her to do it? I hope this ends with Daisy gaining more family not her having to kill Kora.
+ "I’d rather have a thin plan than live through the 80’s again." - May. Heh.
+ Poor Coulson. This is really starting to wear on him and it's making me worried. May said in a previous episode that he always comes back and I'd like to think that's true but I'm not certain he'll continue to want to.
+ I was a little annoyed when Mack was all "the timeline!" when I thought it was confirmed in the previous episode that they are in fact creating alternate timelines at this point. Who cares! The original timeline is completely fucked, there is no saving it.
