I really loved that Tae-eul's immediate reaction when Gon told her about time freezing for an hour was to immediately hug him because "then you'd be alone". She understands him so well!

"I wanted it to be sweet and emotional." Oh, Gon. Of course he wanted it to be meaningful. Meanwhile, as always, Tae-eul is straightforward, practical and unsentimental. I love that contrast between them and that it's been consistent from the beginning (see how they both said 'I love you').

Gon introducing himself to Tae-eul's father by name felt big. I mean it's the Republic so what else could he do, but also he said only his family could know his name and this is him connecting to someone he wants to be family, who will be if Tae-eul accepts his proposal. The whole scene was very cute. And I loved how shocked Tae-eul's dad was.

"They won't look plain if they are on me." - Gon. LOL.

One big issue I have with the last two episodes is how the show is dancing around Gon's proposals and the way that Tae-eul is refusing to apparently even think about what choice she's going to have to make. Living in the now is all well and good, but she can't stick her head in the sand permanently. Telling her dad that he's her boyfriend is a good step but a whole world thinks she's their future queen and she should probably answer that one way or another.

Yeong sadly but confidentially stating that Gon and Tae-eul can't be together - why is he so certain?

The magic lily is hard to grow and means 'hopeless love', yikes. That doesn't bode well for our couple. Or does it? Because if the flowers Gon gave Tae-eul are from the in-between place it means they did grow - so it's perhaps not that hopeless after all?

The cliffhanger falls a little short this episode when they have Gon realise he was his own saviour and at the same time have him poisoned by Luna. How much can we really worry since we know he still has to travel to the past?

I'm pretty sure that Gon didn't defeat Lim and his men that night alone. Not with his lack of shooting ability. With it confirmed it was Gon the night it's all but confirmed for me that Yeong was there too. Yeong even said in the last episode that he will follow Gon to whatever battlefield he's on. I just hope that's not a one way trip for Yeong. Also - this is why Ok-nam was so supportive and sure they were meant to be friends right? She met them the day of the assassination.

"I thought I wouldn't be fooled but that face is my one weakness." I do love that Gon picked up on her not being Tae-eul really quickly even though with him she was actively trying to trick him and was playing Tae-eul fairly well. That said Tae-eul literally just got kidnapped by drinking something she thought was safe, Lim sent someone to poison him and he knew Luna was running around so he should never have drunk that. He and Tae-eul should have set up a pass phrase between them.

Actually, Tae-eul never did tell him she had confirmation that Luna was in Korea. Why didn't she send him a message?

Eun-sup was one of the stars of the episode for me. I always find him sweet/amusing but don't really pay him much attention but I loved him in this episode. I find it hilarious that his security check actually turned something up. I love that he got to be badass in the confrontation with his attempted assassin. I didn't see that coming and it was great. Him flicking the coin was cute. I loved his reunion with Na-ri and the twins. I love that they just knew that it was him - and seeing him dressed as Yeong but feeling very Eun-sup it's not hard to see why. I loved Gon buying him an expensive car (although just because Yeong got him a license in his name doesn't mean he knows how to drive!) and his reaction to it, and him admiring how cool Gon is.

I loved Tae-eul using what she vaguely remember from her kidnapping to go off and attempt to track down where she was brought into Corea from, and thus where Lim's gate was.

"You walked in here and stopped yourself." That was a great line. I liked this exchange between Tae-eul and Seo-ryung scene. I was confused at first why Tae-eul was so convinced that she was Eun-ah. That seemed out of left field but her pushing at Seo-ryung because she was certain that was who she met in Korea was great. I really liked that Tae-eul didn't move an inch and Seo-ryung ended up going around her.

I'm sad with the direction Seo-ryung has gone in. It makes sense for the character but I was hoping she'd ally with Gon instead because there is a lot about her I really appreciate. I love that she is so in-your-face ambitious but also hard-working and good at her job. I love that she is completely unapologetic for that. I love her self-confidence. I think her scheming and ruthlessness was great.

Her scene with Lim was everything I love about her. Cunning, smart, confident. I love that she knew exactly where Lim was going with the whole doppelganger situation. I loved how utterly unintimidated she was by him. I loved her laughing in his face. I'm sad she chose the wrong side of things but I am glad she's alive and wasn't killed by Eun-ah because I think she's the more interesting character to keep on the board.

I'm not sure why Seo-ryung looking into Lim and his traitors is such a huge deal. Getting her criminal ex to do it on the down-low isn't great but the way she spoke of it didn't sound sympathising to me. On the other hand, Seo-yrung illegally wire-tapping everyone is super bad and her doing it to the king I can see being treason. I do have to give her props for the whole underwire 'wire' pun, ha.

I liked that Seo-ryung's assistant remained loyal to her and that she's keeping him in the dark to protect him but this is not going to go well for him. Or alternatively once he realises they're working with the traitor Lim perhaps he'll become another crack in Lim's enterprise.

Why did Lim realise in that moment that Gon was the one who stopped him 25 years ago? He doesn't know about the possibility of time travel. Nothing in that picture connected to the man in black that night. It doesn't make sense to me so I hope it's expanded on in the next episode.

Poor Shin-jae. I mean it's always been obvious that he was in love with Tae-eul but to have Yeong speak of it and force him to say it was sad. And then Luna kissing him as Tae-eul was so not right. Why did she do even that? Did she see his feelings in the photos on Tae-eul's phone? Or was she just distracting him so she could escape his questions?

"I guess this is why you get shot. I'll shoot you next time." - Shin-jae Heh.

I found myself wondering if Yeong could be in unrequited love with Gon to match Shin-jae's for Tae-eul? I could buy it.

So Shin-jae totally found his comatose Korean doppelganger in that room, right?

Yeong was being so hesitant and weird with Gon at the end because he totally kidnapped Jung-hye, wasn't he?

I loved Gon immediately telling Tae-eul about the time freezing. I love that secret keeping isn't a huge thing. I also liked that time travel has finally been brought up and them discussing it. I do wish that he'd told her about how the time freezing increases each time and him confessing about what happened during the photo could have been a great moment but oh, well.

Ho-pil hissing into his phone "Carry her on your back!" made me laugh. I do not think Pyeha would approve!

I love that Tae-eul converted Yeong to her way of drinking but I just wish we had see their relationship built on a little more.

Gon calling on KU Group in order to hobble Seo-ryung may have been a good choice in the short term but I think in the long term they could prove to be an issue for him.

I loved Secretary Mo's reaction to Gon casually announcing that Tae-eul hasn't answered his proposal yet. Heh.

Ok-nam really didn't need to kill both chickens. Actually I'm sure the palace has poison testing capabilities she could have given the bowl to Ho-pil and neither chicken had to die.

I really appreciated the reveal of the three scarred dead men who'd all been in jail for parricide because it bothered me that everyone seemingly got away with the deception. It only makes sense that some of the doppelgangers wouldn't fool their new family, and since they're Lim's people they of course killed the people who discovered them.

A major crack in Lim's planning - Shin-jae's mom choosing to poison herself rather than assassinate Gon. I am curious about why Lim only used her for information and never had her try poisoning Gon before this but then I guess he never tried assassination any other way. I do love that she chose a different path than the one Lim set her on.

Another maybe crack - the pregnant doppelganger has arrived in Corea - and left her counterpart alive and well in her life in Korea! I think this was the most confusing turn for me this episode. Why would Lim have brought the Corean version to Korea instead of having her killed in her world? Doing it this way means he has to make two trips instead of one - first to bring Corea lady to Korea, then to bring her Korean doppelganger to take her place. So that doesn't make sense to me. Then there's the fact that she's alive. There is no way Lim wouldn't have had Korean lady kill her Corean version. I mean good on the poor Korean version for not doing it but the logistics are confusing.
