Lucifer 5x01 Thoughts

+ I love that in their sadness Chloe and Maze turned to each other for comfort - Maze now her new 'consultant' partner, their nights spent dancing and drinking at Lux. It's obviously not super healthy since they both clinging to denial instead of dealing with their emotions and that explodes rather badly once they stop being on the same wavelength. A part of me wishes Chloe had kissed Maze back, oh well. Still I loved their partnership. I was surprised that Maze didn't show up at the end to save Chloe cause I was expecting it.
+ Loved everything with Lucifer in hell - the fact that so much time has passed and he's still completely all about Chloe and his angst over it, him deciding to play detective with Lee's murder, him sending the demon message to help Chloe solve her case. All great.
+ The kiss at the end did seem a little less passionate than I was expecting but the doppelganger reveal surprised me. And here I was loving Lucifer coming in to save her, and the two of them protecting each other. Interested to see where this goes. He plays Lucifer well but with Maze and Amenadiel around he can't fool them all that long right?
+ I hope Linda interacts with Maze and Chloe soon because they both could really use her as a friend.
+ Of all things Chloe's new hair colour is what threw me most. It took almost the whole episode to get used to.
+ I liked Dan giving Linda and Amenadiel advice on parenting. It was nice.
+ Not a fan of Ella's weird 'attracted to bad guys' plot. I hadn't realised this was a thing with her.
