I liked it. It was another anvilly message episode but I enjoyed it more than Orphan 55.

+ I liked the plot and thought it came together well. The reveal that the pathogen was brought to Earth by an alien species trying to find a cure for themselves and accidentally released too much was neat.

+ It's an interesting choice this season to keep having the Doctor and her Companions separated. And this time her Companions got their own companions which I rather enjoyed. There was a lot happening, a lot of jumping between locations and switching up companions but I liked it.

+ "Okay, with the understanding that was pretty alarming, don't be overly alarmed." - Doctor. LOL

+ I liked the guest characters. I liked Gabriella and that even though she thought Yaz was crazy she went with her through the teleport. The strained married couple were nice and I'm glad they got a happy ending. (I'd have been mad if the Doctor hadn't been able to save Jake since it seemed easy enough for her accomplish.) Also this exchange amused me:

Adam: We're separated.
Jake: We're married.
Graham: Well, one of you's in for a shock.

+ Aramu getting attacked on the beach, no one noticing and then him never being mentioned again was weird and it bothered me. Not even a sad mention about his probable fate? Harsh. Him going so far out onto the beach was dumb. Also was he one of Suki's crew or human?

+ "Come on brains, move it along." I'm with Graham here - brains plural? What? Did I miss something major over the past 12 seasons?

+ I'm pretty sure the TARDIS has a really good lab so them going to use Suki's was a little handwavey contrived.
