Lucifer 5x06 & 5x07 Thoughts

+ I loved Lucifer and Chloe in their opening thirty seconds and just the awareness they had of each other and then the way the gently tangled their fingers. Also yay for finally resolving that tension.
+ Amenadiel/Dan were wonderful. It was nice to get an episode where their friendship is such a focus. I loved them sitting at the bar chatting and being there for each other. I loved Dan giving parenting advice and then Amenadiel reassuring Dan that he is a good person. I love that Dan went running to the house and then stayed all night trying to help him with a constantly crying baby.
+ Charlie loving Lucifer's demon face and Lucifer immediately getting into making silly faces to entertain him was adorable. More uncle/nephew time! I also love that Lucifer stayed to help Amenadiel with Charlie instead of running off to see/help Chloe/scare of Jed which frankly shows a lot of growth on his part.
+ I enjoy Dan's long-suffering but friendly demeanour towards Lucifer so much more than him hating him. I love that he let's Lucifer's arrogance and insults just roll off his back with an eyeroll and sigh. I loved Dan and Amenadiel's shared look of exasperation at Lucifer. It's such a great change! I love that Dan now has to learn the whole truth but please don't let him go back to hating Lucifer.
+ Amenadiel explaining to Dan what he said to Linda and then realising what went wrong amused me.
+ Aww, Lucifer calling Ella 'perfectly adorable'.
+ Chloe's 'real ella' made me lol.
+ "It's good scary because it's you." Awwww. Sweet moment and I liked how flattered Ella was at Maze single white femaling her. That said I'm not sold yet on Maze's storyline.
'Our Mojo'
+ Oh, Dan. His breakdown at Charlotte's grave and confessing that he was terrified was sad. His fear that he's now going to go to hell seems in retrospect the obvious direction for him to take the Lucifer revelation. Michael using that, and his obvious status as an angel, into manipulating Dan into shooting Lucifer seems pretty par the course for him. Just - oh, Dan. I get why it worked but I'm curious about why he didn't consider Amenadiel in this. He saw Amenadiel with his arm around Lucifer, and yet he also knows Amenadiel as a kind and caring man. You'd think that their friendship and past would have enough weight for him to go to Amenadiel first to ask him to explain his side.
+ I like that we're getting all these nice friendship scenes. This ep Amenadiel and Maze were really lovely.
+ Lucifer losing his mojo is kind of weird but I assume it's more psychological baggage on his part affecting him physically.
+ I found Chloe weirdly dismissive of Lucifer and his panic at losing his mojo. It is nothing like sharing or give and take in a relationship.
+ I seriously don't get why Lucifer hasn't been expecting retaliation from Michael what with the permanently scarring his face and being hated by him.
