Another Imugi
+ I love Imugi!Ji Ah's creepy grin. Good job on the part of the actress - Imugi!Ji Ah is very different from Ji Ah.
+ I love that Yeon let the Imugi hurt him in order to test it's strength.
+ Yeon and Ji Ah play-acting like they were married was adorable. Yeon deciding that Ji Ah should be the breadwinner while he'd be the homemaker and make money off rents was great.
+ Ji Ah absolutely has reasons to be upset and scared right now but her crying, twice, made me sigh. It's possible to be upset and not break down into wracking sobs!
+ It bothered me that even though Yeon was determined to save Rang his own way last episode, and was deeply worried about him, during the first half of the episode it was as if he'd ceased to exist and Yeon was all about Ji Ah. Even him simply bringing up his worry or checking in with Shin Joo about how he was doing would have worked. It was just such an abrupt shift from caring to him seemingly not even being a thought in Yeon's mind.
+ I love Yoo Ri's devotion to Rang. She so quickly offered her life for his own and then when she says wait it isn't because she changed her mind but because she wanted to say goodbye. I loved her petting Rang's hair and telling him to be happy.
+ Yeon being there for Shin Joo was great. Yeon trying to comfort Shin Joo by saying Yoo Ri is a jerk was actually really sweet and made me go aww. He's trying! I loved Shin Joo telling him not to talk about Yoo Ri that way - followed with a please. Heh.
"She doesn't like my face, and she said I wear tacky clothes." - Shin Joo
"Well, I can see where she's coming from." - Yeon
LOL
+ I loved Yeon and Rang's reunion, specifically how emotional Yeon was during it. The unalloyed joy on his face when he saw Rang, jumping over the couch (because clearly going around would take too much time), the big smile on his face, and of course him immediately pulling Rang into a hug. Then then how for a couple seconds after Rang pushes him away and he keeps holding Rang's face in his hands with this great wondering smile as he stares at him. It was wonderful.
Also this is Rang getting everything he's always wanted so of course he acts like it's no big deal and Yeon is being overly clingy.
+ I loved Rang punching Shin Joo to stop him from going after Imugi. He did it because he thought Yeon wouldn't be able to (which Yeon acknowledges with a nod) which in turn he did because, while he might not care about Shin Joo himself, the two most important people in his life love him and so for them he'll protect Shin Joo and I find that beautiful. But preferably with less painful punching next time.
+ Shin Joo really is the best. I love that while still on the floor recovering he so quickly thinks about Soo Ho and if he's been left alone.
+ Rang buying Soo Ho a ton of toys to keep him distracted while leaving him alone was great. Very Rang.
+ I have really missed Ji Ah and Rang together. I loved their reunion. Their sniping and annoyance with each other is so fun. They have such great energy when together that it's a shame that the show has kept them apart for so long.
+ "I'm warning you." / "I'm warning you." LOLOLOL. That was hilarious. I think that was the most 'annoying little brother' thing Rang's ever done and I loved it. Made only better by him flinging his legs over the arm of his chair and looking at his phone. Has he regressed to being a teenager? Honestly his whole disdainful, put upon 'why do we have to deal with these useless humans' attitude during the meeting was so great.
+ Rang seemed almost disappointed with indulgent Yeon giving in to his whims. I guess it's no fun being mischievous if the person you're trying it on simply gives in. I love that he immediately tells Yeon that he can't try his, heh. He's such a brat.
+ "It only takes an extension of my hand. Why didn't I do that earlier?" - Yeon. A question for the ages. So much could have been avoided if he had. It is nice to see how far he's come that this is a question he can seriously ponder now and it bodes well for Yeon and Rang's relationship going forward.
+ I liked this fake out more than the previous one, and it makes sense this time for it to be one we wouldn't know about. It also worked for me because the whole deal about Hye Ja getting the Euiryeong Sword from the fortune teller made no sense to me and this reveal made it all better. That said at this point there's been more than enough fake outs and I really hope there are no more in the final episodes.
+ I really like the hints we have of the two Imugi's not having the same goals or desires and I feel like this is absolutely how they are going to defeat them.
+ I absolutely get why Eui Ong would be angry and take Taluipa's latest action as a last straw but at the same time I don't know that I agree with him? How many people have already died that weren't 'meant' to? Over a hundred and counting. Taluipa has a job to do and it's not nice or kind or easy but I feel like it's been set up in story as a job that has to be done. She should care about the greater good more. Ji Ah is important to the people who love her but so too are all those random people we've seen die.
