4x08 'Make No Mistake, He's Mine'
+ I loved the Jack/Maya talk. Him teasing her that Inara didn’t know her enough to hate her yet was adorable and his advice about Carina was wonderful.
+ I loved Ben’s reaction to the Andy/Robert fight and his talk with Robert afterwards was good.
+ Jack taking Marcus up on the fire truck to see Marsha through her hospital was very sweet.
4x09 'No One is Alone'
I really liked this episode.
+ I thought that the show did an amazing job in making everyone - Travis, Vic and Theo - all understandable and sympathetic.
+ The flashbacks were excellent. Travis and Michael were delightful. I was sold on their relationship. Theo was great. The friendship between the three of them was great. I loved the conversation about water filters and the proposal scene was sweet and funny. Loveliness all around.
+ The show did a really good job at making Theo likeable. The reveal that he was Michael's best friend, and became Travis's too before Michael's death, on top of being the one who got Michael killed was a great choice. Seeing how close Theo was to Michael and Travis made me feel for him a lot. He made a terrible mistake that got his best friend killed and then on top of that he lost Travis when they both needed each other most. It was a really sad situation. It really makes me want Travis to forgive Michael and for them to find each other again.
+ I liked Theo's bonding with Jack and how he worked with Jack to make Marcus feel better. I enjoyed him just being honest right from the start.
+ The Vic/Travis extended fight was good. I liked how it played out. I liked their make-up. I loved the short flashback to their first meeting. They are my favourite relationship on this show. I loved Maya calling them soulmates.
+ Travis needed to apologise way more for questioning if Vic really cared about Ripley. That was so out of line and honestly Vic responding by opening up instead of lashing out in anger was a testament to how patient and understanding she was being with him, and how much she cares about him. If she'd have told him to fuck off he'd have deserved it.
