+ I love Edrisa. She was great this episode. I loved her "pulling a Bright" and that Dani just went along with the terminology.
+ Edrisa/Blaze were great. I love how much he was into right from the beginning and the longer he knew her the more he was into her. I loved how open she was about her tastes with him - "Oh watch out. I bite." and her "Light bondage. (side whisper) And not so light." (and how into that he was!) I also like that despite her massive crush on Malcolm she was completely willing to hit on a different guy she was into.
+ I like how seeing Edrisa interact with another guy she likes shows puts her behaviour with Malcolm into a little more context which is that that is just how Edrisa is.
+ I really liked the short Edrisa/Malcolm scene where they studied her murder board. I loved their smiles at each other after Malcolm said he was already crazy.
+ Gil and Jessica were lovely. I loved the dance. I'm pleased that the show is letting them be happy together again.
+ Wow, Edrisa's apartment is huge and amazing.
+ Malcolm seriously needs to start going to the hospital when he gets into serious accidents. Getting hit by a car is a go to the hospital situation! Also to stop pointlessly throwing himself into life-threatening situations but mostly the first one. It's really starting to bug me.
+ Edrisa not immediately applying pressure to Blaze's wounds was terrible. She would know better! There is no way she'd hover above him, chatting, while he was bleeding out. Dumb directing there.
+ Dr. Capshaw being so affected by the prisoner's words and basically running away bothered me. That really didn't gel with what I thought we knew of her. idk.
+ There really wasn't any reason for Malcolm to visit Martin. It felt like a pointless scene, tbh, and that feels really weird to say.
+ Based on Malcolm's final bit to the killer about how his 'family will give up on him once they know the truth' it seems Malcolm's lies over Endicott are making him very worried about losing his cop family. That if they find out they'd give up on him. I feel like we haven't seen a lot on this angle of his current worries.
