Wynonna Earp 4x12 Thoughts

What a sweet, lovely ending to the series.
+ I'm so glad it didn't end on a cliffhanger and that everyone got a happy ending.
+ Wynonna walking Waverly down the aisle was perfect and I loved their little head-touch.
+ I really loved the names of all those they loved but who couldn't be there on the chairs at the wedding. I wasn't expecting it and it honestly made me teary-eyed, especially Dolls.
+ Wynonna/Doc were wonderful throughout and I am really happy they finally got together. Them leaving Purgatory to explore the world (with it left obvious that they would eventually return) was perfect for them. Especially that last moment where they decide their first stop would be to finally go see their daughter.
+ Wynonna and Waverly's tearful goodbye, and Waverly refusing to let Wynonna continue to martyr herself for Purgatory, was wonderful. Everything about that scene was wonderful. "I’m OK. I’ll be OK. Because of you." and "You're my whole heart, Waverly." ♥ I love them so much.
+ I really love that Wynonna chose Waverly, chose to stay in Purgatory over going with Doc for Waverly and I loved Waverly giving Wynonna permission to leave and be free is what let Wynonna decide to.
+ Nicole asking Nedly to walk her down the aisle - "If you would walk beside me. Like you have most of my life." - was so lovely.
+ Everyone interrogating Wynonna after Doc left without her and their disbelief that she turned him down was great. Everyone's excitement and freaking out when Wynonna decided to go after him was great too.
+ Jeremy being made head of Black Badge and finding the possibility of new love - excellent. The gay/demon misunderstanding was cute even if I'm confused that Damon didn't seem to know about demons. I guess he's from out of town?
+ Waverly being enthusiastic and optimistic and Nicole being practical and zen about their wedding and Wynonna being the crazy Bridezilla was a perfect choice.
+ I loved how unfazed both Waverly and Nicole were about the haunted wedding dress and how quickly they figured it out.
+ Waverly's second dress was much better than the first and she looked so lovely but wow, there was so much cleavage and I was very distracted in her final scene with Wynonna!
+ Jeremy having put a tracking app on Doc's phone because he worried about his driving habits and didn't want to lose touch was honestly sweet.
+ Nedly getting someone excited to go fishing with him and Rachel getting to experience something new (with what seems to be her new adopted grandfather) was just really lovely.
+ I liked the last shot of the Earp mailbox with the sign above 'and Haught', and the sign above 'sometimes Holliday' and the sign above 'welcome everyone'.
+ I loved Waverly's little amused eyeroll when she said "apparently they're best friends now" about Wynonna and Nicole, and Wynonna's smile was so sweet.
+ I liked Waverly asking Doc to be her best man and how touched he was.
+ Doc calling Wynonna 'the truest hero I've ever fought alongside' made me aww considering Holt's death and the fallout of that. I don't know that I buy them getting past that so quickly but I'm glad they have.
+ Someone walking in on Waverly and Nicole post-coital for a final time was great.
On the other hand:
+ Why wouldn't Wynonna say anything about/to Waverly in her wedding speech?
+ Why would Doc leave hours after Waverly and Nicole's wedding? There's no reason why he couldn't leave the next day! That was pointlessly dramatic and frankly rude towards Waverly and Nicole.
+ It bothered me that neither Wynonna or Doc seemed to think of Alice and seeing/getting her until the very end of the episode.
+ I'm choosing to believe Doc called the others to come pick up his car/belongings before leaving with Wynonna instead of abandoning them.
