Give Me One Reason
+ Michael's father being the Dictator surprised me although I don't know why because this show does love 'unexpectedly related' reveals. Hilarious thought - Jones is the Dictator which means that Max and Michael are actually the two aliens who are related.
+ I hope that it turns out to be true that Nora and Louise created Max to be a weapon against the Dictator because I like the idea. I like the greyness it adds to the story. It would fit in with Noah calling Max the Saviour too.
+ I'm a bit suspicious of Max's recollection of running to Jones and feeling safe since Max only remembered that after Jones touched him. It'd be an interesting twist if Jones was a good guy but I don't buy it. His blatant attempt to manipulate Isobel certain didn't help his cause. I'm also not sold on him genuinely caring for Max though the way it makes the whole situation more murky and grey is something I'd like if true.
+ I'm skeptical about how Nora got the genetic material to create Max. There's definitely more of a story there.
+ Michael jumping from 'Nora got close to him' to 'obviously I could be his son' made me roll my eyes a little. Sure, he ended up probably right but it stills seems like a (kind of sexist) leap.
+ I don't get why jumping off the roof wouldn't have worked just because Michael caught her at the last moment. Any closer and Maria would have hit the ground, plus she didn't even know it was Michael until she looked over. I really don't think she can blame the lack of vision on him.
+ It was nice to see Kyle being so supportive of Rosa. I find myself wondering how the Kyle/Rosa sibling relationship will interact with the Rose/Liz one.
+ While Kyle was right that Rosa had no reason to feel guilty based on the years of racist harassment she and her family have suffered from Wyatt I think a far more important and immediate reason is the fact that he literally just tried to murder her. She was defending her life.
