3x06 'Bittersweet Symphony'
+ I loved how the reveal that 'Max' was actually Jones played out - with Liz and Rose/Isobel both figuring out concurrently while it's inter-cut with 'Max'.
+ It was great to see Sanders again. I loved him helping Michael.
+ I liked Isobel and Rosa teaming up to help Maria.
+ I loved that Maria managed to hide away her memory of what happened for the others to find and save her with.
+ "I just don't want you near whatever it is I decide to do." Michael clearly interpreted this in the worst way but also I think the wrong way, and definitely on purpose on Alex's part. Michael hears that Alex doesn't want Michael around or to work with him, Alex, imo, means to protect Michael from the shadiness Alex is involved in.
3x07 'Goodnight Elizabeth'
+ Jones's "It's okay. Everyone eventually bends to me." is when I realised that yeah, he's totally the Dictator. That's just such a classic evil villain thing to say.
+ It had to be something very important that would cause Jones to leave his planet and sneak aboard the Resistance ship. Nora/Louise created Max as a weapon against Jones, they're connected... if one dies so too does the other. That would be a pretty big reason to need Max back, and for him to be interested in Liz's research.
+ I loved Michael catching the sword as the reveal of who Jones actually is. Such a great Michael moment and a neat way to reveal it.
+ Jones seemed entirely willing to kill Michael which surprised me a little. I guess he really has no feelings for his 'heir'?
+ I really enjoyed Liz and Jones. Their attempts to play each other and sparring were great. I loved Liz decking him and running when getting through to Max didn't work.
+ Isobel and Michael bickering over mentoring Rosa amused me a lot. I also liked Michael training Rosa to use her power.
+ I really liked the Liz and Alex scene and them talking about Kyle.
+ Eduardo knowing the truth about the aliens might have been the biggest surprise in a way. Just how much does he know and who else knows it too? They've spent so much time hiding but apparently it's not actually that big a secret!
+ I found the division of Liz/Michael going for Maria and Isobel/Rosa going for Max a bit weird. Specifically I find Michael going for Maria and Rosa going to Max confusing. I would have expected it to be switched. That said I do love that Michael went to Maria's side and his reaction, the utter relief, when he found her alive was great. It makes me wish the show would explore their failed relationship more.
