Charade and Wait Until Dark Thoughts

It was pretty good overall.
+ The end – especially the sequence with Reggie running/hiding from Brian - was very tense and well done.
+ I found their final scene really fun. Like a lot of these older movies the romances move so fast (this movie takes place over like a week) and there’s a massive age distance (Grant is 60s, Hepburn is 34) but I liked Reggie/Brian. The ‘I love you’ came too fast but I liked that she was the one pursuing him. There were some very fun moments [the shower scene, Reggie looking through his glasses] and I thought Hepburn/Grant had a nice chemistry. I also thought in this case his age worked fine with him as this mysterious man who she keeps having to unravel the identities of like an onion.
+ I really liked that aspect – that he ended up having 4 different identities/reveals.
Wait Until Dark
It was fine.
+ I thought Hepburn did a good job and I really liked Susy. She was smart and I was really impressed with how she handled the whole thing.
+ Susy setting up her apartment to try and protect herself and eventually getting the better of Roat was well done and believable.
+ I liked her relationship with Gloria too.
