Sigh, and once again Gwang-ho's impulsiveness bit him in the ass and let the murderer go free. There was no reason for him to confront past Dr. Mok! If he'd simply did it official, if he'd brought in Young-ja and her statement he would have been arrested! Honestly I feel like Gwang-ho wasted his time in the past. He really needs to learn how to step back and think things through better.

I am very curious about what Gwang-ho's short detour into the past will affect in the future. There were no obvious changes this ep but it had to have done something, right? Or is this a you can't affect the future sort of deal?

I felt so much empathy for Jae-yi. I loved everything with her rediscovering her past. Her new perspective on Gwang-ho and their interactions, and her struggle to deal with this just as he's disappeared again. I loved the picture of Yeon-sook bringing back a memory of her mother and her breakdown over it. I loved how at peace she seemed when she met her former guardian mrs. Shin and learned about Gwang-ho's visit.

Gwang-ho explaining his past five months to Yeon-sook was very cute. I loved how his tale was all mixed up in the telling and him making a point to describe amazingness of phones in the future.

I was a little annoyed when Gwang-ho lied to Yeon-sook about her future.

Is the Noel pen still in the past? I like the idea of Yeon-sook finding it after Gwang-ho disappears again and hiding it somewhere secure - the only place she knows for sure is still around 30 years later, the Chinese restaurant.
