+ I loved Zishu noticing how upset Kexing was and, after a slight hesitance, putting a hand on Kexing's shoulder in support. I loved the way they gazed at each other and Kexing putting his own hand over it, and then just standing there like that as in the foreground Baiyi confronts Long Que. I love in general how attuned Zishu was to Kexing and his emotions during this whole confrontation and how ready he was to be by Kexing's side.
+ I love that even among all these, personally important and emotionally affecting, reveals Kexing asks if the Yin Yang Book could help 'those with wilted meridians' too and we see Zishu making note that "He always bears in mind." and them sharing a fraught look.
+ It's nice that Zishu's looming death sentence and the desire to save him is always on Kexing's mind but Long Que literally just told them that using that technique caused Rong Xuan to go mad, so probably it's not really a viable option.
+ "Having a friend like you in life, one can have no regrets." Zishu getting a great line that is ostensibly about Long Que but said while gazing at Kexing so we all know who he's talking about.
+ I was pretty sure, like Zishu, that Kexing was the son of Rong Xuan (it made sense!) but now, like Zishu again, I find myself pretty sure that he's actually the son of Zhen Ru Yu and Gu Miao Miao. They had a son. Kexing got especially emotional around that part of the story - it's the part where he actually cries. He was also clearly affected by what Long Que did for them.
+ I loved the reveal that Baiyi was Rong Xuan's master.
+ I liked the backstory stuff we learned in general. If it was Zhao Jing behind this all, Zhao Jing who poisoned Gao Chong's sword, he has so much to answer for. They were all so happy, and so much pain and suffering and death followed.
