iariaEpisode 5: Survivors of the Flux
Eh.
+ Once again we're given an exposition episode wherein the Doctor basically stands around and learns information and doesn't really do anything. Also she once again is given a 'hard' choice to make that ends up being hollow (the random guy took out the Master, the bad guys turn up here and even before I didn't feel like she was tempted for a second.) I'm really not a fan. It's boring. It feels like a waste of the character.
+ It was great to see Kate again.
+ The Yaz/Dan/Jericho adventures were nice. The 'Fetch Your Human' message Yaz and her team left Karvanista was great.
+ "Humans are so annoying. Especially him." - Karvanista. Hee.
+ I liked the Doctor's hologram message to Yaz.
+ The last episode's cliffhanger was fantastic but the resolution to it here a disappointment, alas.
