+ Xiang facing down her (assumed) death made me love her so much.
Episode 26
+ That Xie Wang/Zhao Jing scene was excellent. "But if I maintain a little kindness and a little affection for my family, they are for you." And then asking him to guard it, to not abandon it, as a lone tear rolls down his face and he desperately cups Xie Wang's face in his hands - oof. "You are the only one I have and I'm the only one you have." God, he's such an impressively manipulative dick, I love it. I honestly am impressed by how good he is at it.
Poor Xie Wang. He absolutely seemed taken in by Zhao Jing after that performance so I was pleased when he returned to Tragicomic Ghost and actually listened, if reluctantly, to what she had to say. He doesn't want to believe her because he is loyal to Zhao Jing and loves him but a part of him knows the truth even as he's desperate to deny it. I've grown weirdly fond of him and I really just want him to find someone worthy to love and be loyal to.
+ I love that Zishu clearly knows what is going on and he's worried about Kexing but he's also respecting Kexing's clear desire to keep his cover. He never pushes Kexing but simply accepts him as is and accepts what Kexing wishes to show and give him.
+ It is going to be so painful when Chengling learns Kexing is the Ghost Valley Leader.
+ I loved Baiyi's "You jerk" note to Zishu, heh.
+ The Brochure of Ghosts bothered me because it wasn't near big enough to have all the ghosts, only the major ones. It makes no sense that only new Ghost Yun Cai wasn't in it. Making even less is that somehow Xiang isn't in it? Even though she's basically Kexing's adopted daughter, even though she's high enough up to have her own moniker/name Amethyst Fiend. All those random background ghosts, including all the beauty ghosts who have no martial arts skills, are in it but not her?
