+ Aww, I knew Weining would believe in Xiang. He is such a wonderful and compassionate man. I love that he asked for the truth, and listened with acceptance. Her excitement and joy when he said he would listen to her story made me want to hug her. They are so lovely. I really hope they get a happy ending.
+ The Zishu/Prince Yi facedown was actually rather fascinating. Yi thought Zishu was his soulmate! I can't believe that he tried to spin his burning of Four Seasons Manor as something for Zishu. I find myself wishing that more time had been spent on this whole Prince Yi plotline and we'd gotten more of their backstory.
+ Zishu was amazing and I loved his demeanour throughout the episode. Even though he's a prisoner he feels so in control. I loved that he got to express some of his anger at Prince Ji. I liked him bringing up Han Ying. The table flip was great (but all those poor nuts! Lao Wen would be so upset, lol.) I really loved him taking Prince Yi hostage and that whole exchange between them.
+ Seeing Zishu with those blades pierced through him - ouch. My second thought - Lao Wen is going to go ballistic if he sees that.
+ Zishu is very hot in his Window of Heaven outfit.
+ I'm sad we didn't get any flashbacks to Xiang as a kid with young Kexing and to actually get to see some of their early relationship but it was still great to hear about their relationship from Xiang's POV.
+ Every time Xie Wang does something to make me think he understands what a snake Zhao Jing is he then turns around and continues to be loyal to him. I deeply hope this was the final step he needs to start cutting himself away from Zhao Jing, or to at least take steps to protect himself. I think it is but then I've thought so before. What I really want is for Zhao Jing to try and betray Xie'er only for it to backfire. Let his manipulative scheming and backstabbing finally blow up in his face and let it start with Xie'er. I wonder if I could hope for a Xie Wang/Kexing team-up?
+ Evil Bodhisattva stepping slightly in front of Xie Wang to try and protect him was a nice little moment that left me wanting more about their relationship. That's a lot of loyalty on her part.
