+ The antlers being fused into Alina's collarbones was horrific and I loved it. Excellent change from the book.
+ Not sure how I feel about the added Kirigan backstory on the creation of the Fold. The idea behind it was fine but something about the execution of it left me meh. I think it's supposed to show us a more righteous and gentler Kirigan, to see how he was before he became as he is now, a sort of before/after, and yet it felt hollow? (Whereas the short story backstory on him hit hard.) Hmm.
+ A dying Mal begging Alina not to give in for his sake but to kill the stag herself so she could be free and trying to crawl his way towards her with his dagger was a great Mal moment.
+ "We could have had this. All of it." I rather love that there is this alternate world where Kirigan approached Alina as an equal and they worked together, and this is a world that Alina can envision despite all he's done. It could have been - and he destroyed it. Anyway great scene.
+ "Fine, make me your villain." LOL, what?
+ I loved the Kirigan/Mal conversation. Kirigan's assertion that he doesn't need to kill Mal because he has patience and eventually time will take care of him was chilling.
+ Inej sewing herself up was badass. I loved Jesper's appalled reaction.
+ "I'd miss me too. I'm fantastic." Jesper and Inej's friendship is so lovely and this episode in particular was nice. I loved her calling him Jes.
+ Jesper's affront over the age on his papers amused me.
