+ I was really pleased with both George and Nick this episode. Their break-up did something I really wanted which was give both characters something interesting to do outside of their relationship. I loved George helping Carson and the pleasure and pride she found in it. I loved Nick investigating the potential victims and him convincing the rest of the jury not to let their emotions and biases taint the facts.
+ I liked Bess being there for George over the breakup.
+ I was disappointed that we got nothing from Nancy towards either Nick or George over their breakup. It felt really strange.
+ Ace confessing his feelings to Nancy was so unexpected. I really didn't think he'd say anything. He's 'had feelings for a long time'! I'm so impressed with him for the bravery.
+ Nancy being so stunned by Ace's love confession was great and it's left me thinking she's going to choose him, and I never thought I'd feel this at the beginning of the season, but it's left me a little disappointed. I wanted to spend some time with Nancy/Park dating and being happy.
+ I loved Bess being Ace's best friend and talking him through the situation with Nancy, and encouraging him. I loved how she approached the whole thing with him.
+ Ryan turning up yet again to interrupt a romantic Nancy moment amused me a lot. And he was so oblivious to it! His casual "yeah, okay, later dude" when Ace left made me laugh. I loved how enthusiastic he was about catching how hinky the bidding on Charity's case was.
+ I enjoyed Carson and DA Rosario's work-bickering/flirting dynamic this episode.
+ Considering how Bess has been twisting in the wind for a couple episodes sure that Temperance was evil but for some reason feeling like she couldn't bring it up to Nancy (or anyone else?) I was disappointed we didn't get anything from her when Nancy essentially announced that Temperance was evil. Honestly the whole thing just makes Bess's secrecy here feel even more pointless than it did originally.
+ Knowing that Temperance needs the soul hosting guy I really don't get the choice to turn him over to the mundane police for protection. What are they going to do about magic?
