iariaIt was fun tbh. Enjoyed it.
I didn't realise that this was a sequel oops!
+ Max/Cole were surprisingly a delight. Though mostly on the part of Max, who missed Cole, and found himself liking Cole more after Cole killed him, and who spent his last moments cheering Cole on and wasn't even mad about being sent to hell because Cole had sex.
+ Cole/Phoebe/Bee meanwhile snuck up on me hard during that last scene.
+ I was a bit annoyed that Phoebe took such a back seat in that final scene. Bee is one of those people she loved and thought had died because of her and is now alive, then she reveals that she made a bargain with the devil in order to save her! And then saves them again! I feel like this warrants a lot more reaction from Phoebe and more screen time on those reactions. In particular the camera focusing almost exclusively on Cole during Bee's reveal she has to die and him pleading no annoyed the crap out of me.
+ Juan was ridiculous and I found him pretty fun, and enjoyed his bro-ing with Archie. His laser focus on his car much to the judgment of everyone was funny. Melanie killing him without a blink was honestly probably deserved on shit dad behaviour alone.
