Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 Episode 7

+ The levels of Jang San-beom pettiness are honestly a delight not the least because of how upset it makes Yeon. Yeon's affronted at being a no name supporting character, his annoyance over being slapped over and over (his heheh! when he ducked only to get slapped harder, lol), his disgruntlement over the script - I love it. This is one of my favourite versions of Lee Yeon.
+ I love the power of friendship/love breaking the spell on Hong-ju. I like that the three of them all had a part in killing Jang San-beom.
+ I was surprised that Moo-young knew exactly how Ho-young's death played out. I assumed there had to be some miscommunication happening. This is a very difficult situation. I think Yeon should have aimed to hurt/disable but Ho-young kept going after Moo-young so I can understand why he killed him. At the same time I can understand Moo-young not forgiving Yeon. Especially because he doesn't know why his beloved brother turned on him. Yeon makes a very convenient scapegoat for all of Moo-young's negative feelings. It's because of Yeon he has no answers. Plus he probably thinks he could have gotten through to his brother. On the other hand, the extent of his hatred is extreme. Planning to murder Yeon and destroy his happiness is where he loses me. I don't think any truth is worth everything that happened after and that's all on Moo-young.
+ I loved Rang showing up in the Path of the Damned to save Yeon. I love how fierce he was against Moo-young. Also his "I won’t ever, ever let go!" Awww. His devotion to his brother makes me happy.
+ The product placements in each of the 'channels' were hilarious.
+ There was some good creepiness in Rang's version of being trapped in a horror movie.
+ I'm still not much interested in Yeo-hee/Rang but that kiss was pretty good and I appreciate her showing up to once again save his life.
