A Korean Odyssey Episode 12
Feb. 8th, 2024 03:35 pm+ I loved Seon-mi immediately pulling Oh-rong into a hug when they were reunited, and when he made a suggestive remark she only held him tighter instead of pushing him away like she usually does.
+ This really was the perfect opportunity for Seon-mi to remove the Geumganggo now that she knows that it weakens him and could even lead to his death. Did she really not do it because she needs him to save the world, or because she's not ready to lose his love? I liked him praising her and telling her it was the right decision.
+ I really do love Oh-rong and Ma-wang together. Their mix of annoyed petty poking each other with a stick and genuine well-hidden care for each other forged over thousands of years is a delight. I loved Oh-rong bringing Ma-wang his favourite porridge and a celebratory wine, and Ma-wang happily singing while setting up the table for two. It was very sweet. I also enjoyed their super childishness with each other's statues while bickering over who had to deal with Asanyeo.
+ Ma-wang and Oh-rong feigning being too sick to go after Asanyeo in the most dramatic ways - lol.
+ I love the Oh-rong is clever and powerful enough to immediately figure out that Asanyeo is possessing Bu-ja and arrogant enough to still be caught by her.
+ Bu-ja not learning from the first time and meeting a mysterious voice on the phone by herself, and without telling anyone again, makes me sigh so hard. Girl, really? Bad zombie.
