Alice in Borderland Thoughts

The show did a good job with the absolute chaos and confusion when someone randomly starts shooting but why weren't people trying to get into buildings? I didn't see any of that. Arisu going up on the walkway was a dumb. The idea should be to get more cover not less! There was also a lot of almost misses while everyone dies around them happening and that can get unbelievable quickly.
Is there anything Ann can't do? The car chase was fun.
Niragi showing up at the King of Clubs game made me laugh. I didn't actually expect it. I can't believe he survived.
Unfortunately I also can't believe that he can run around. The show gives nods to Niragi's worsening condition but he is way too mobile and not screaming in pain for me. My suspension of disbelief says nope.
I really liked Kyuma. I thought the show did so well in making him and his band fully fleshed out people who were likable and understandable. We didn't know the bandmates well but we really got a sense of the close bond between all of them which made up for it. I love that the others didn't blame or feel anger towards Kyuma for losing the game for them.
I appreciated Kyuma's commitment to nudity. The eye candy was very nice! And the show's varied methods of cover his junk were great.
I liked Kyuma's semi-mentorship of Arisu a lot too. I was with Arisu in wishing he didn't have to die.
I enjoyed the King of Clubs game. It was interesting and I was invested in seeing how Arisu and his team would win.
Niragi seemed to be genuinely moved when he was included by Kuina and Arisu in the caongragulatory high fiving. Of course he then reverted to despairing rapist really quickly afterwards which fuck him.
Tatta's death was really sad but also one of my favourites. I loved that he came up with the idea and that it worked and saved his team. It was a great idea, tbh. I'm glad that at the end Arisu's support and genuine thankfulness towards and for him finally allowed him to feel needed and appreciated.
I was confused during if Chishiya and Ippei really were a part of the group in the Jack of Spades game. At first they clearly were but when things devolved into murder they very much did not seem a part of it. It seemed clear during the final four they weren't. But if so when did they leave and why didn't any of the others instead try to leave and join them?
During the Jack of Spades multiple people asked only one other person to confirm their suit and then just took their word for it for some dumb reason. The first death who bullied and intimidated a guy into telling him and then just accepted the answer he was given? Dude, this is a life or death game! If you're going to be that dumb you deserve your fate. Or the suspicious lady (Shinobi?) who asked a pair but then didn't try and confirm it with another. Again very dumb even if she was right to be suspicious.
So what the heck happened if it wasn't fireworks exploding in the sky? Bombs? A fleet of jets dropping bombs indicating the start of a war? A meteor? Spaceships? A portal/wormhole/tear in space? Aurora from a massive solar flare? So many possibilities here and probably a bunch I didn't think of. I don't know which option I'd prefer.
Aguni showing up alive - sure why not.
