I enjoyed it.

I liked all three of the main characters and for the most part all their stories were interesting.

The humour of the show was great. Bud's Brain was hilarious.

I loved the Vault 4 episodes and the truth about what was really happening there. I loved how Maximus and Lucy switched positions over the course of the episode. I loved how the rest of the show and the cultishness of the Shady Sands ritual primes you to believe something nefarious is happening only to reveal the opposite, and that this Vault actually is a peaceful community. I loved the mutations were because those people were the descendants of those who were experimented on. I loved the whole sentencing Lucy scene; the humour of Overseer Ben cutting through the handcuffs hit perfectly. I loved that they were going to send her out with supplies. I loved Lucy refusing to leave without Maximus and then Maximus choosing to leave the cushy life in order to save her.

I liked the tragedy of Maximus leading the Brotherhood to Moldaver's compound to save Lucy thinking not only was he saving her but that the only victims would be 'bad guys' who it wouldn't matter if killed.

I like how in a lot of ways there aren't really good and bad guys. Like Moldaver's group seems pretty righteous in a lot of ways and yet these are also the same people who invaded Vault 33 and murdered a lot of innocent people.

Okay I kind of liked Thaddeus. Yes, dealing with your own abuse by turning your abusers on another person is wrong but, like Maximus, I felt sorry for him when he explain why and how he'd liked Maximus. He and 'Titus' saving each other and celebrating afterwards was great. I was ready for more bonding. Him locking the dog in the cooler angered me (at least do it in the gas station!) but his check that he could breathe and the little breathing door (and the fact he was shortly after rescued) made me just shrug at him. I liked his earnestness.

My biggest disappointment was Moldaver dying at the end. Boo! There was so much potential with the character. I found her so interesting and I wanted to know more. I guess she also found herself in a cryo chamber but how? Going forward, with the knowledge she has and the reputation but having lost her people and the reactor, it would be so interesting to see where she'd go next. I wanted to see how this whole Flame Mother thing would play out.

Rose still alive as a ghoul was surprising and horrifying. It's obvious Moldaver loved her (the hand hold as she died!) though whether it was romantic or not I can't tell. But that's what makes it worse for me that she kept her alive for all those years. As a ghoul and feral (??) was Rose aware of what was happening around her? Does she feel pain? That seems like such a terrible fate. Did Moldaver keep her alive because she couldn't bear to let her go, because she was hoping for a cure, or as proof for her children if they ever made their way out again?

Poor Chet. Dismissed by the woman he loves and then basically browbeat by Stephanie into being her replacement husband. It's clear how trapped and unhappy he was. I hope things get better for him.

I'm just going to assume the nuclear fallout has given people an increased pain tolerance because yikes some of those injuries!

It's too bad Wilzig died so early cause Michael Emerson is so great.
