- I love how Emma always has Mary Margaret’s back and is always there for her.
- I’m a little surprised that Mary didn’t throw Emma’s support in David’s face.
- I love that Rumpelstiltskin did everything – the curse, pushing Belle away – in order to find Bae again.
- I don’t entirely like how the final Emma/Regina confrontation played out. At first it was great – I loved Emma standing up to Regina and deciding to stop playing her game. But then she came out with: “You tried to take away someone I love and now I’m going to take away someone you love. I’m taking back my son.” That just bothers me. Just before that Emma calls Regina a sociopath and if she’d continued in that vein it would be fine. It would be Emma wanting to protect Henry and get him away from Regina’s influence and after everything that’s something I completely understand her feeling.
But instead those last lines made it more about revenge and wanting to get back at Regina for setting up Mary Margaret. I don’t believe that is the main reason for her deciding to fight for Henry but I don’t even like the implication that that is why she’s doing it. I hate when adults use their kids to try and hurt or get back at each other.
- Something I found interesting – Emma states right out that she does believe that Regina loves Henry. Didn’t she stay in Storybrooke originally because she didn’t believe Regina when she said she loved him? When did that change?
- I liked the David/Kathryn scene.
- I'm glad that August isn't Baelfire. I didn't see that coming.
- Just a random thought but – I wonder if Bae could be Henry’s biological father? That could be really interesting!
- Considering how liked Mary seemed to be at the beginning of the show I thought there were actually very few people at her party. Were people too embarrassed to come, did Emma keep it small on purpose, was that much damage done to her other relationships/reputation or was she never that popular?
- I really liked this exchange:
Gold: Are you proposing I'm working with Regina or against her?
Emma: I dunno, maybe diagonally.
