It took me awhile to get into the show. Honestly if I hadn't seen so many people consider this a great series I probably wouldn't have bothered watching after the first episode. But I persevered and ended up enjoying it.
+ The animation definitely was a point against the show. I found it very ugly and distracting though by the end I'd become used to it.
+ I like Mob. I really enjoy his easy-going manner. I especially loved him deciding to join the fitness club because he wanted to better himself.
+ Reigen somehow became one of my favourite characters which I never would have foreseen based on those first episodes. He's a con-artist and a fake, sure. But he's also surprisingly moral, kind and somehow full of good opinions and advice? I love his confidence. I love how quickly he assesses situations and handles them. I love his special moves, which are just hilarious.
+ I loved everything about Reigen in the last episode. He clearly thought it was all a joke when the first attack failed but he had to have picked up pretty quickly what was happening and despite knowing he was only borrowing Mob's powers he didn't flinch once. He had no idea if they would cut out suddenly or not be able to counter an attack, but he just went full-steam ahead with confidence and brashness.
That was my favourite part - him just breezily conning his way into rescuing Mob. I loved how he had no idea what was going on but just went with it. I loved that his overwhelming confidence in himself was enough to convince the minions he was the big boss. And I loved him taking the opportunity to teach the minions and get them to act in a more moral manner - and it worked! Him shooing them off to safety at the end was great.
+ Dimple was fun.
+ Mob's interactions with the fitness club were great.
