• Neal planning on keeping all the Nazi treasure doesn’t work for me. Back in season one Neal came across a stolen painting (was that stolen by Nazi’s as well?) and he broke the law to make sure it was returned to its rightful owner. Why would he now no longer care? All his reluctance about not leaving was about the life he’d built for himself and not one mention was made of doing what was right. Neither he nor Mozzie brought up the fact that their score of a lifetime were stolen from victims of the Nazi’s. WTH? At the very least I would have liked for Neal to say that before they sell anything they’d try to find its original owner first.
• I found it strange that Neal was actually going to leave despite the reluctance he showed. I mean he seemed more torn back when he was going to leave with Kate which makes absolutely no sense. That time was legal and he was going to leave to be with Kate. A big treasure really has more pull than Kate? Especially considering he knows that leaving this time would also hurt Peter (perhaps causing him to lose his job)?
• I love when El and Neal have scenes together but I didn’t like Neal conning El at all. I was sure that she knew at the end what he was doing but apparently not.
• As soon as a smuggling case was brought up I knew it wasn’t going to be the u-boat treasure in the plane. That was really predictable.
• I loved El calling in a favour for Peter.
• I felt some definite heat between Neal and David especially during their first scene. The fencing was pretty hot and at the end I was almost expecting a kiss. Clearly he’s an ex-boyfriend.
• I love that Neal has a large stash of ties in his desk at the office. I loved him silently asking Diana her opinion.
• “I guess a part of me always knew that when push came to shove she’d always choose Peter.” Heh. Oh, Mozzie.
• I loved June’s granddaughter helping them with their con. I’d love for her to apprentice to Neal and help him occasional on some of his side cons. It’d be very interesting to see how June would react to that.
• Hilarie Burton looked like she’s lost some weight. For a second there when we first saw – when she turned in profile to say hi to Neal – I didn’t even recognise her. Her faces looks so much thinner.
• So what’s going on with Neal and Sara? Not much time has passed since the finale – a day or two at most I’d think – and yet they are a lot friendlier than I remember them being in the previous episode.
