The End of All Things

+ I loved Olivia saving herself. Again. Because that is what she does. It's made even better by the way she didn't just accept Nina as Nina but tested her, immediately came up with a plan to escape when Nina failed and played her captors to accomplish it. She electrocuted one guy and immediately after a seizure shot another - she is badass and I love her.

+ I loved so much the return of Olivia's abilities. Is the show finally going somewhere with them? I'm excited about the idea but we've been down this road before. The fact that this time Jones was left alive gives me hope it will come into play in a serious way. I do hope that it doesn't turn out that Peter always has to be around for her to use them. Yes, he's been there a lot when she has but not every time.

+ So Peter is special because... he needs to be with Olivia? What exactly was September saying?

+ I don't love Peter's assertion at the end that there is a specific Olivia that he's 'supposed to be with'. It just rubbed me wrong for some reason.

+ I was annoyed with both Lincoln and Walter.

1) Their continued insistence that Peter is causing Olivia's changed memories, even though there is no proof of that, and the way they keep harping on him about it being wrong and that he should stop even though he insists he isn't doing it.

2) The way both blamed Olivia's kidnapping on Peter and more specifically the way they talked about it. Lincoln rebuking Peter for 'letting Olivia work on the case while not herself' and Walter rebuking Peter as well for 'letting Olivia out of the lab' (because he was 'succumbing to temptation, what?). Olivia isn't a freaking child. She is a grown ass woman who makes her own choices and Peter doesn't get to 'let' her do anything. Ugh.

+ In order to go into someone's mind Olivia had to get down to her underwear, have something painfully stuck into her neck and stuck in a water tank so why did Peter just get to lay back in a chair. That seems unfair! Also it annoys me.

+ I liked the little twist that the captive Nina was the fake one even though I figured it out pretty quickly. It means that those moments between Olivia and Nina this season were true and did happen exactly as we saw them. Of course Olivia doesn't really remember her relationship with Nina which is sad.

+ So Olivia's memories - we learn that her past in this timeline is hazy, she remembers bits and pieces but not much of the emotions that go with them. Does this also include the last several months of time (that makes up season 4)?

In her mind Olivia is Blue!Olivia now so what does that mean as far as her memories as Red!Olivia? Are they clearer now or have they always been hazy like Amber!Olivia's memories are now?

Olivia's throat shot of David Robert Jones was pretty impressive - is that Red!Olivia's marksmanship skills showing up? And thus proving she is Blue!Olivia? (I never bought red Olivia being so much better than blue Olivia simply because we saw what a great shot blue Olivia was in the first two seasons but that's what the show stated as canon so...)
